Paleo diet is basically if the caveman can eat so can you no processed food. Roasted meats and vegetables can you imagine the size of an omelet made out of pterodactyl eggs ? Yum

Yeah, but the average caveman was dead by 35 or 40 years old, ya know! That is what I find funny about the Paleo diet.

Still, always good to get rid of processed foods. Also, no need to be afraid of eating fat, if you don't eat carbs. It is the combo of fat and carbs together that causes inflammation.

I know you smoke your own butts, fish, lol, but I made a very good crock pot pulled pork butt yesterday! I was good last night. Had it straight up with cabbage slaw. But was very bad just now and had it on a bun with BBQ sauce. Naughty me. Better than washing it down with a couple of cold brews! Just water and coffee(decaf).

I actually generally avoid eating wheat.

Hi all, today was my 3rd consecutive day...not bad for such an alcoholic. Kept my mind busy all the time so I had few cravings compared to yesterday.

@Renarde - hope to hear from you soon.
@ all the rest - enjoy your evening/rest of the day, see you tomorrow.

Just turned baby over. I was in OR with her until she was out. I cried a few tears after leaving her. I think I could cry all morning but I have to keep it together. Now it's time to wait.

We are going to watch a movie on husband's kindle. Surgery shouldn't take long.

Guys, you will love this:

Since it is a snowday again due to the super cold windchill, I have 10 kids in my house, ranging in age from 4 to 17. They are all crammed in our family room watching a movie together that the high schoolers chose. And what do you think that movie is?

That's right! Finding Nemo!

It's like you all are crammed in here with us!

Renarde, I am praying!

Baby made it through fine. We are having a rough recovery from anesthesia and pain but things have settled down just now. I may be Scarce for a few days. Thanks so much for all of the support. Xoxo

Good to hear the surgery went well. Hopefully the worst of recovery passes quickly. Anesthesia can be tough.
