Last drink 12/22/13 roughly 8:30pm. Thats my first 24 down. I am committing to another 24.

Hello Everyone and Merry Christmas Eve to all. I hope you all have a very blessed
Christmas Eve!

Let's all make the right choice and sign in and commit to staying clean and sober
for the next 24 Hours.

The Real Test- What are we made of

Ok We are here, It's Christmas Eve and time to ask ourselves what are we made of?.

This is when push comes to shove, when the rubber meets the road, when the chips
are down, and we find out what lies at the very core of our character?

Today we will learn what we are really made of when the stress of the Holidays and
the temptation to drink and use will be all around us.

Since our behaviors on the outside are the real indicators of who we are on
the inside, by looking at how we behave today will determine what we have
inside.

How are we going to handle ourselves this Holiday season, do we have what it
takes? What are we made of.

Life is not always going to be easy for us and today may be one of those
days but it is just another day, we will always run into problems Big and small.
It will never end. No sooner do we get control of one situation when we are hit by
another.

It's called "Life"

Life is a process of “two steps forward and one step back.”

Recovery is about growing up emotionally, mentally and spiritually instead of
continually numbing those emotions. It may be difficult but it is not impossible
to stay clean and sober through the Holidays and and you do have what it takes.

What are we made of today? We are going to have the answer to that
crucial question very soon. I just hope it's the right answer.

My nephew got his 3rd DUI last night, this makes it a Felony in his State, oh and driving with a suspended license.
I pray that this is a door opening, for his Recovery.
Serenity Prayer for me,note in my God Box to hand it over to my HP, pray for my nephew, talked with Sponsor. Bobbi here & present to sign in for my next 24 hours of Recovery. :angel:
