I see filling up a thread and getting a second part as a kind of success. You are doing great DD.
Here's to filling up another thread with tales of sobriety, good days, hard days, regular days; it doesn't matter as long as you stay sober.
Onward!

Don't have to work and no real plans. I will probably go see mom and dad as it has been a few weeks since I went over there. I do plan to spend some time on two wheels as the weather is suppossed to be great all weekend. Where will I go? I like to ride and have no particular destination in mind. I decide where to go as I ride.
Day 60 ODAAT. Went to mom and dads yesterday only to find out they both have Covid. Dad said he has had a common cold and felt worse. Mom is taking it a bit harder but nothing too severe. Therefore I didn't go in the house but mowed and weedeated the yard. Mowing doesn't take long on dads Big Boy riding mower. He still insisted on paying me for it though which I have learned to accept or he won't ask for help again.
Today I am off to church this morning followed by a ride to Cassoday for the bike rally. I don't have to come home and go back to bed thanks to having tonight off for Labor day.

Day 61 ODAAT Couldn't sleep well last night. I finally decided to just get up and maybe it will help me get some sleep this afternoon before I go to work tonight. Weird, I almost feel like I have a hangover even though I haven't drank in two months and won't drink today.
I did finally get some good sleep this afternoon. I woke up a few times and turned over but went right back to sleep. The worst part about quittig drinking was all the sleepless days and nights. I don't ever want to go through that again.
Wow, I just got asked by a supervisor to go check on one of his employees and see if he was acting odd. The guy can't keep his eyes open hardly and he keeps looking up and down his arms with a flashlight. He alternates between one arm and the other. I made conversation with him, asked him how his weekend was and he told me he spent two days writing poetry. That is a good reminder why I never want to drink again. To my knowledge I never had a supervisor ask anyone else to check on me but I don't want to.
