I'm one of the naughty kids in the corner--I've relapsed twice since my original date of Jan. 11--right now I've only got a month plus change sober!

You're not naughty plus you're back on track, Gilmer. It took me 3 tries before I was really ready and knew without any doubt that moderation wasn't on my list of options.

No cigarettes for me--I've been puffing on cigars this week! (I plan to back off a good bit when I get home, though. Too much nicotine).

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you all!

2014 feels like a lucky year for myself and many people that I know.

I haven't been perfect, but I haven't been bad,
and I've been able to be naughty and nice at the same time.

I'm looking forward to a year of tomorrows where my yesterdays
are all fond memories . . .

Welcome back, Blond.

1 year ago today I said "I'm done with alcohol and will do whatever it takes to stop". There has now been a years worth of good days, bad days, calm days, crazy days....all of them have been sober days.

To Dee and everyone on this thread I am very grateful for the help and kindness you've provided. It made the past year possible.

Thanks for the congrats. It's really cool that we've all stuck it out together. Sober simply feels normal and comfortable now but then I think back about how different things felt in January-March. Phew, glad those times have passed.

I hope everyone is doing well.
