Thanks, Carlotta. I've been trying to spend less time online but I'll always owe SR (and this thread) for showing me the way to live alcohol-free. Boy is this spring easier than last year's. When a couple of close friends stayed with us recently I was the designated driver for the trip out to dinner. They're moderate drinkers and were enthusiastic about my big change. That was cool.

I've just realised that I'm 15 months sober today! Yippeeeee! 
That means that most of my fellow Januarians are too - congratulations to us all (and to anyone who doesn't have 15 months but who is still trying)

Hello Class of January 2013! Just checking in before yoga/meditation class. I have been so busy that I lost count of my months. I will have 18 months on July 3.It was wonderful to log on to SR and see some familiar names, an welcome to any newcomers!

Hello all
It's my birthday today. I'm 54 and I can honestly say that not a single drop of booze passed my lips while I was 53. Yay!!! And I fully intend this year to be the same.
Hope all of you are doing well. I was taken aback when I read that pianowoman will be 18 months sober in July - and then I realised that I will be, too!
