I guess I put us over the edge with responses! I responded to a bunch of ppl so don't think I'm neglecting anyone!

Brooksie, congrats on that position! That's great!

As far as dreams go, I had that cirrhosis dream which was horrifying. I've also had a couple of flying dreams which were amazing.

Baby had some shots at the doc today. We are getting hit with a big winter storm, so yesterday I got all of the animals more food, and tonight I stopped at the grocery to get the essentials. Now we are ready to batten down the hatches. Unfortunately I have to go to class tomorrow in the midst of an awful commute. We will have to leave at about 6:45 am. I have more studying to do tonight. Husband flies back late - I hope his flight is in uneventful.

Drive safely tomorrow! I hate driving in snow storms. Be careful!

Fish, believe it or not, I AM a Panthers fan! We used to live in NC in the mid and late 90s and my husband is from upstate SC. So I can happily back your boys!

Guys, I haven't had a drinking dream and I still think about how delicious beer is. I don't remember many of my dreams anyway, I sleep like a dead woman, but I really don't think I have had one drinking dream in the 3 months since I stopped drinking.

I think I must be a dry drunk. If someone promised me with 100 percent certainty that I could drink tonight and it would not affect tomorrow, I would do it in a heartbeat.

Pretty depressing, but there it is. Honest, at least.

I don't think that's depressing. That's basically saying that if you could drink like a normal person then you would choose to be a normal person. I would opt out of being an alcoholic if I could. Also I think a dry drunk is someone who is sober but emotionally and mentally out of control and not working on it. You seem like someone who is working on it. (((Grace)))

I don't think I mentioned that one of the "essentials" I bought at the grocery store was my favorite ice cream. OMG. It's so good!

It took me a while to really accept I would never drink again and to embrace sobriety entirely.

Gradually I built a new life, I faced new challenges and I changed. I realised I preferred being sober.

I'm absolutely sure the same will happen for you too Grace.

Like they say in AA - don't leave before the miracle happens

I bought a 12 pack and then didn't drink it. I know! But it could have been worse. Going to sleep now. Pouring it out in the morning.

Dude, you are dancing with the devil. Can you pour it out now ? Then get a good night sleep and reflect tomorrow.

I think Kane makes a great point.
Take a minute now and be done with it.

Uninvited, it may haunt your dreams. Something like that would really nag at me in the night
