We have smoked turkeys and ribs, but never butt. Sounds great, Fish.

This sounds like a giant case of laziness to me. She has convinced her family that it's a "cool" family tradition to go get fast food, so she can avoid cooking and cleaning up. I mean my brother has been married to some real winners, so I can sort of picture them thinking along these lines too. Although his wives actually did cook Thanksgiving dinner. So I mean I mean we are talking really low to be going this route.

Hell, I'm alone and I bought half a turkey and some stuffing to cook. Let's hope I don't burn the place down.

I hope everyone in the States has a wonderful Thanksgiving, wherever you may be and whoever you are with. Despite the issues and problems with folks, one can be thankful to celebrate the day sober and full of life and emotions !
