Sat in work right by the window
The air con is blowing a gale
Down my neck and up my skirt
It makes me feel quite pale.
I'm going to bring a blanket in
A hot water bottle too
I'll wrap myself up warmly
And buy some mints to chew.

Oh wow just look at this thread
I was just heading off to bed
But I thought I'd just peek
at the poems you do speak
I love that so much has been said.
I've been away a few days
But I'm touched in many ways
So where do i start
You all have a heart
And this is where mine lays
Ipanema and Gracie are new
Oh look ! I see Deeker here too
The old crowds around
With welcoming abound
I am thrilled to see all of you.
So much for getting to sleep
I'm so glad i took that leap
It's got me in the mood
And I did write no rude
Better than counting those sheep
But in having said that
I shall not fall flat
For what is a verse
Where i cannot curse
I'll soon put paid to that.
I'll make it seem like its art
Be No mongrels nor no fart
No shades of vile wind
for a doggie that sinned
But surely he did play a part
But we'll keep this between us
Cos I'm not being clean but
Its a pretty big ask
So I'll take you to task
What else doest rhyme with penis

That also 'cleanness'
Does rhyme with 'penis'
Although not to be unkind
I don't associate the two in my mind
And also 'hygienist'
Or if we were to rhyme with 'c*ck'
Then we could use 'hard as a rock'
Or if we were to rhyme v*gina
We could use 'great wall of china'
I better stop with the dirty talk
Lest my rhyming rights be revoked
Although I mean it all just as a joke

But there's less of a hunt

when finished, I promptly showered instead
I was warned about
what a gaggle of girls can spout
my face had turned infrared
last day on the road for me
soon back home at the lake I will be
my journey was long
sobriety stood strong
at least my new golf clubs missed me, tee hee

Woke up feeling a bit blue
Wish I didn't have so much to do
I'd like to spend all day in bed
Or maybe just chop off my head
I'm sure my body would be fine without it for a few
All these moods do get in the way
Of making the most of my day
But I must turn it around
I don't want to spend all day with a frown
Even if the day does seem rather gray
Wish I didn't have so much to do
I'd like to spend all day in bed

I know exactly how you feel...I'm just prioritizing and the rest can wait til tomorrow.. it's no fun being overwhelmed and asking God to help me make the most of my day and for you to find all the strength you need to git er done..

these moods do play within my head
How can it change in a day
I wanted to feel just the same way
As yesterday. Now I'm back to bed!
It started off all shiny and new
But thoughts of the day made me blue
So up i must get and walk the dog
I've really gotta clear this fog.

Did not spend all day feeling down
I got a lot of work done
Then went to yoga for some fun
A smile has replaced my frown
On my pillow I'll lay my head
All comfy in my bed
Knowing I made the most of the day
More yet to do, but I made steps along the way
Rather than moping, I made progress instead
(OK, maybe not exactly smiling, but feeling at least mostly content and far better than I was.)
Did not spend all day feeling down
I got a lot of work done
Then went to yoga for some fun
