There will not be a roster for the following 24 hours and I may have to refrain from posting it all together. But I'd like to take a poll. Would you all rather I post anniversaries or the roster. The club has grown sooo much that I haven't the time to do both as I work full time and the club which I love so much is taking up a lot of my time that should be spent with God and My family. I am trying to find some assemblance of balance. I hope to be doing the 24 hour Club for a long time to come.

I'm on the computer....yeah!! I continue to be in Northern Idaho, with very poor Internet connection. Tuesday I fly home, back to my home with my hubby & son! Checking in for another 24. Thursday, the 12th was 10 months! Bobbi

Hi There Everyone! Glad you dropped in to the 24 club.
If this is the first time you dropped in, what we do is sign up once daily with
our local time and we commit to ourselves and the rest of the club to stay
clean and sober for the next 24 hours.

No Rules here and absolutey no shaming. Just start over. Let's just figure out what we
are going to do different today. If we keep doing what we always did, we will keep

Wondering Why Me?
There were times when I used to cry out to God and say Why me?
Why am I an alcoholic? Why am I an addict? Why am I bi polar?
Will I ever know the reasons why? Maybe one day when I meet my maker.
When I am faced with obstacles such as these it forces me to come face to
face with my humanness ,weakness and total vulnerability.
It humbles the cockiness in me.
It makes me realize the need I have for something greater. In my
case that need was God.
Sometimes when things are going along just fine, when have money or material
goods we think we are invincible and don't need God or help or people that we are
just fine on our own and we will do it our way and in all actuality it may seem great.
But the truth is that when we don't face obstacles in life we are not given
the opportunity to grow, to reach for something greater.
The obstacles in life are what help us grow in strength , character
and wisdom.
Their is real value in our past, if we can look at it that way and learn the lessons.
We can pass them on in encouraging others.
It is then when we realize that maybe it was all supposed to happen just
like it did.

Hi there deeker, yes I know many of us regulars are concerned about the time demands on you, and for myself I believe I'm over the crisis period, five weeks now. I'll chime in to say hi but otherwise I'll go with your new system, and will say include you in my own prayers of course.
There's a guy in China who can't thank you enough, no doubt about that.
