Well I had almost 1 year and I'm back on day 3 again??? This time feels different. I feel hopeful because I had so much sober time and I know I can do it again. This time 4 sure!

all in for 24 more at 6:37am from my daughter's wedding venue...
such a wonderful ceremony and reception party yesterday...
just a morning brunch remains - then heading home to relax and enjoy new memories...totally exhausted

Listen To Your Heart
Our thoughts don't always have the things of the heart in mind.
If we stop and be still our hearts will tell us what is at the root of joy. It is
not money or material wealth it is usually something we know we need to change
or do and it is usually something difficult.
It can be very uncomfortable listening to what our hearts are saying to us. And
some of us don't want to slow down enough to listen. But it is there.
The answer to life's problems is right there inside your heart.
That voice of our heart is calling us into action.
We all know in our hearts exactly what we need to do, it just takes courage and
willingness to actually do it.
We have to be still.
The peace we are craving from a drink , drug ,sex, gambling or food etc. It will
never last for very long and we will be left once again with our thoughts.
Those things that our heart is really telling us.
Take the time to really listen to your heart. What is it really telling you today? It has
the answer. It is the voice of truth. We must be willing to do what it is telling us today.
That voice wants to help us, because it cares.
If we listen to that voice and do what it is really telling us, we have a good chance at recovery.
I am quite certain that I personally know what that voice is for me..
And I finally started listening to it.
