Class of August 2013 Part 3
About a half hour into day 12. Still holding up but it's getting tough. Like many of you said would happen, the feelings that often caused me to drink (lately its discouragement) are coming out and I have thought about giving up and getting drunk. But I know it won't solve anything and only make problems worse. So I am still hanging in! Hope everyone else is good!

Morning / afternoon / evening peeps Woke up to find I'm yet ANOTHER year older (dammit), so gonna be a wonky day today. Have told (lied) to everyone that I'm heading to the coast for the day, as didn't want to have to go out etc and risk them saying ' oh go on, just one' and all that. NOT ready to face that just yet. I'm going to spend the day boring you all on here instead, complete with the inevitable ice cream, blah de blah and all that (I'm even boring MYSELF banging on about ice-cream now), but keeping temptation at a minimum and not caving in. x

Hi all I haven't written a post in a while as I threw myself into work ..Day 18 I have had many opportunities to drink especially over the last few days but I kept thinking Im only thirsty and ordered a mineral water, it seems to work for me. I also went back to Bikram yoga this week. I used to do it for a year but gave it up when I started drinking really heavy this year, it is extreme and you die but it really works especially for sleep and especially stress.
I brought my two sons to a waterfall and we walk for 10km when we came home I would have done anything for a beer but all I had was mineral water in the fridge it worked. I'm not sure how long this will last but I am planning every day and occassion down to a tee so I don't slip.
My husband has being a huge support in that he doesn't even mention about beers or wine as he used to before we use to drink every night and very heavy at weekends . When I mention that I didnt drink on a occassion he says don't read too much into it just keep doing what you doing but i have to read into it or I will slip.
Thanks to everyone on this site for the support and I read all your posts just cant answer them when I am in work.....have a good and sober day everyone
