Putting It to Good Use
What has been our pain? Our toughest problem?
Can we use that for good?
Can we relate to a person who is in need of comfort?
Can we encourage…sympathize…empathize…lend an ear?
Hold their hand? Give them a shoulder to lean on or cry on? Do we have time for that?
Would we want someone to take time for us?…help us?
Today let's make up our minds to be a comforter.
Let's use the experience of our own wounds to support
others who are wounded.
Let's use our own brokenness to build a bridge to the hearts of
others who are hurting.”
For me I believe when we are or have gone through really tough
times in our lives that it isn't because God doesn't care.
I think it's because God has great plans to use us in a way that
we can not understand.
Even our worst moments can be used to help another.
Today let's not forget that, we can empathize with others and
help those in pain and in doing so it takes us out of our own.
Let's put our own past and pain to good use.
