You're all of ours hero Dee But I guess we can't expect you to update all of us on how you're doing. We need a Dee thread x

The dating is going well Jeni. It has been an unusually pleasant and sane experience for me. Just odd in a way because I feel like I am 12. I usually skipped this bit. Now I am all shy, not like me at all! Anyway, he is really nice and not annoying which are like the only things on my tick list!

Whilst I am not gonna say wholeheartedly that stopping counselling is a good thing (especially when I'm about to jump straight into all that again ) I do think that private counsellors can have a tendency to prolong sessions unnecessarily. I remember a friend saying to watch out for that when I first tried getting counselling years ago. It's good to stay in control of your own progress.

Anyone feeling Christmassy yet? I am not but I am sure it'll kick in on Xmas eve when I am learning how to make a vegan Xmas dinner. Haha, this could be interesting.

Hope you're all well xxx

Well I have got as far as buying some parsnips... I think I am just going to have roast veg.

Off out to a session tonight. I haven't gone at all except for once last Xmas so if nothing else my musical social life will be a yearly event!

How's INH? x

I went to the pub and there was no one there Well there was but not session people. How embarrassing. I checked my emails and I definitely had the right place and day, it may start later but now I don't want to go back in case people think I am this odd lady who just walks in pubs and walks out again... Who would start a session later than 8 o'clock? No idea what time it is meant to start but the pub is packed anyway. Maybe they decided to cancel it with it being so busy close to Xmas. Unfortunately I have no one I can phone so I think I will stay in and work on that shopping list! x

Hey all, happy Christmas! (That's what British people say right?)

I am driving home to Idaho for Christmas with a brief stop in Utah to see a great aunt. The last time I was home was five years ago, and its been ten years since I was home for Christmas, so its kind of a big deal. Its a 14 hour drive plus stops but the scenery is nice. As the pics should show.

I'm about an hour from home now and just figured you all would like an update. Well that and I read Jen's post lol. And I agree we do need a Dee thread!

Merry Christmas to you all too. Love you guys

Today has been fab and craving free, apart from a brief mulled wine craving in the supermarket yesterday And I made vegan gravy. Actually it's the first time I have ever made gravy so I am fairly chuffed. The dog has been fairly over excited most of the day and as someone who loves shredding paper was pretty good at opening presents. It's been a nice day

Hope you're all having a great day xxx

Glad you had a lovely day Hypo....mine was pretty special too.

This is the first year ever I haven't tried to 'manage' the whole thing with my weird family dynamics. I was just the genuine authentic me, no pretending to be the person I think others expect me to be, or manipulating situations to try and keep everybody happy.

Somewhere along the line I've lost my fear...and that is HUGE. In fact, I've been a bit teary today...it's like relief or joy or something weird. I think I might just be believing that things are gonna be ok...
