Class of April 2013 Part 6
Today is 1 year for me as well.
It's nice to be here celebrating this with all of you.
The last year has brought many, many changes. There have been some tough times and also some really good ones. I'm looking forward to what year 2 will bring.

Oh and speaking of changes and people who play the drums... I don't normally post my music on this site, but this is just a band practice video so I don't think it counts as self-promotion
This is two days ago at band practice. I'm the fat guy on the right playing rhythm guitar. The kid in the back is our new 16-year-old drummer. He's not too shabby for a kid!

Thanks you guys for your kind words, and remembering me and the Blue Dog.
I can say without hesitation the last year has been one of the toughest--yet most revealing year of my life so far. A lot of gross things have come forward, but with the clarity of being sober, it's much easier to come up with a plan to deal with things.
I wouldn't be here without you all, that is for certain.
Congratulations to those who are above and beyond a year! Way to go! In the chance that some of our old mates are still around, and have thought to check in here--I hope you are well, and that your own paths are moving where you'd like them to.
Thanks again! BD is positively excited for the additional belly rubs you have wished for him--so that just means he is fired up beyond reasonable control, so we're off to fetch some frisbees!

Although I havn't posted much, reading everything on this site for the last year has really helped me better understand how to cope and move forward. So thanks to everyone who shares their thoughts, feelings and personal experiences!
