My first 24 hours are behind me, it wasn't too bad. Some sweats, didn't sleep well, had some crazy dreams, anxiety of course. But I still feel better this morning than any of the mornings after I've been drinking. So, I say YES to another 24.

I've been away for a few days, I got the chance of going to the sea side with my daughter's Mother in law and our g.chids, very short notice but hey, it was just what I needed.

I'm good, I'm sober, I missed you all and it's good to be back.

In fifty years of varied drinking my longest sobriety would have been 6 months max so I don't want to crash.
