Does 24 Hours Clean and Sober Really Make A Difference?
Well lets think about this....
Just think how many tragedies are being avoided by each one of us staying
clean and sober for the next 24 Hours. Saturday!.
One less bruise.
One less broken bone.
One less drowning.
One less house fire.
One less bar fight.
One less person losing their job.
One less person disappointing their child.
One less child being taken to DCFS.
One less person cheating on their spouse.
One less person beating on their spouse.
One less unwanted pregnancy.
One less drug deal gone bad.
One less gun shot wound.
One less week's paycheck being spent.
One less person going to jail.
One less drunk on the road.
One less person getting killed.
One less person committing suicide.
See we can each make a huge difference just by choosing not to drink or drug today.
Have we made our choice for this 24 Hours? I know what mine is going to be.

First, Congratulations to Lady BC! ONE YEAR, that is so awesome! What an inspiration
I'm on day 54 asking for another 24 hours.
I'm so thankful for this club. This is my go to place when I know I have a day where there's going to be, or could be, alcohol around. When I make my request and it's granted the decision has been made for me that I will not drink, under any circumstance. I save it for when I need it most. It's a mind game for me and it works!
Thank you deeker for doing this!

Just for Today: I will start the day with an admission of my powerlessness over my addiction. I will remind myself that today with "we," and know that I never have to be alone with my disease again.
