Class of February 2013 Part 8
Wow Venus! Septicia is beyond scary! And so glad you don't have leukemia. What a rough few days you're having!
Is it me, or are most us having things going on that are making us thank our lucky stars we sobered up when we did. Maybe some us had "high bottoms" but it sure could have gotten way worse very quickly! Okay, enough rambling for now. Take care folks! Sending positive mojo to all of you!

And Wehav, yes! I lapsed so I feel a bit weird commenting, I'm not trying to claim that I made it the whole way through. But sobriety has taught me so much, and continues to teach me. I learned on this trip that I still have lots of issues to work through, family-wise. And I was so much better prepared having faced up to less threatening issues sober. I am really proud of all of you for the wisdom that you're putting into action right now.
Congratulations darling liss!!!!
Really happy to see you fantail (((hugs))).
Not feeling too well. My friend next door is a paramedic, she's on her way in to see me.
I'm pretty blessed, hey?
Love to all,
V xx

Lisa, congrats on 6 months!!!!!
Fantail, glad you are home.
Looks like ill be in Britain for my 6 months, pretty sure I won't have a problem staying sober there. We might go to a pub, but my partner will be with me and I'm pretty sure her friends there know I'm an alcoholic. So no worries.
I've confided before that for some reason 6 months is a big relapse danger zone so I'm already trying to do things differently. I didn't go home to California this summer, where I've had two September relapses. I started back to the gym, and I post a lot more here. And posting and reading you all on sr is a huuuuuge help!

When do you leave wehav???
And it sounds like this is going to be a wonderful trip,
an awesome part of your journey.
We are going to keep doing this, no matter what challenges present themselves.
Life gets a bit rough sometimes, but I know I wouldn't get through the bumps
if I wasn't sober...No way.
I have basically slept for two days...healing one day at a time.
Love to everyone ♥

Venus so glad you are feeling a little better you were scaring us. And yeah, your body is so much better off since you are sober, you could very well still be in the hospital if you were drinking still.
On my way to uk now, sitting in Atlanta airport. Here are an awful lot of bars here. So I picked a restaurant with some good lookin food and am sitting as far as possible from the bar. Doin alright
