Hi all, back again after forgetting to sign in for a few days. Still sober...still forgetful too 
The past two days have been full of personal drama (nothing like the appearance of the long, lost ex from your drinking days who you thought you LEFT in your drinking days...) but I managed to stay sober through it. I was so, so afraid of this very scenario because this individual can push my buttons like no one else. But I held on, said a prayer or ten (and this from someone who never, ever, prayed before) and I got through it. Sober.
So, yeah...little happy dance here to share tonight. You CAN get through stuff without reaching for a glass of wine---or whatever---who would've imagined. Not me.
10:44 in DC. Going to treat myself to a nice, long bath and an early bed time.

8:45 Valley of the Sun. Dog walked, people feed, new business cards to pick up in the morning... Feeling like stuff is starting to come together. Hey MidLife, I think the family that vomits together gets well together? Hope you guys are feeling better soon. Cant believe I'm already in the middle of week six! Have a great Thursday for everyone still up, I'm about to pass out for the right reasons.

JUST FOR TODAY, I will live through this day only. I will not brood about yesterday or obsess about tomorrow. I will not set far-reaching goals or try to overcome all of my problems at once. I know that I can do something for 24 hours that would overwhelm me if I had to keep it up for a lifetime.
