Checking in for another 24, and then going back to sleep, because it's Saturday and I can. So there. 
The line about "not calling in sick and making excuses" is the one that stood out to me just now. I have a coworker who calls in sick a LOT and I'm starting to wonder about him... And then I think, well, people have probably been wondering about ME all along...

I'm a morning person. I had a using dream last night. I hate the way it makes me feel, but a big relief when I realize that it was only a dream. I'm in for another 24. Going hiking in the mountains today.

I am in for another 24 hrs. It is 9:15 at Myrtle Beach. The beach looks so much more beautiful when I am sober and do not have a hangover Yea!! Instead of lots of wine last night I went to Friendlys and had Ice Cream with strawberries yummmmm.

I am back. Had 18 days, but am back to Day 2. It was NOT worth it. It is 9:38am in PA. In for another 24. Husband is away all day (big trigger and the reason I relapsed Wed night) but I will not drink today...... Go away AV, I hate you!!!!

It is a beautiful sunny and mild Colorado Saturday... I have to work today... but may have a chance to get in a walk late this afternoon...

When a thread gets over 500 replies it gets closed and we have to open a new one. So we have had over 1000 replies since this thread got started at the beginning of April , that is kinda cool actually, and over 5000 views .lol Now we gotta get those lurkers signed up.
Can you imagine over 6000 people committing to sign up for 24 hours no drinking and drugging? That could be 6000 less people on the road driving drunk. This silly little thread could actually save lives if everyone commited. Cuz I imagine that out of the 6000, if they were still drinking that their would probably be a few DUI's and possibly with injuries and death. I need to find some statistics.

It will brighten their day! As well as take us out of ourselves .
I try not forget what is was like to so desperately need a drug/drink first thing in the morning not so long ago . I am sure some of you still feel that desperation. You are not alone anymore. Reach out to us when you check in so we can Encourage you! You Can Do It!

Today is day 2 And starting to feel different. Oh God hope I just continue to keep these thoughts out of my head. It's hard! I feel like if I don't take anything I feel as though I can't get things done... I guess I'll see how it feels later.... Hope all are doing well.

4:17pm ohio time and i'm in for another 24. thanks for playing the game, that was fun!
today i'll say something i'm thankful for that I wouldn't have without the last 24 hours sober... thankful that I scaled a big, slippery, steep hill in a park to help with some habitat restoration. if drunk, I would have fallen off that hill!
