Good morning, dear Mayans!

Life is still quite crazy! Another 5 weeks of class and I'll have time to breathe, clean my home and catch up with life. I always forget what a rocket-sled ride this class always is.

I think of all of you and read your posts faithfully.

Good Morning All,

Thank you so much for the congratulations!

HRB - You know me so well! I just love the dog picture

My husband is leaving town this week-end to visit his parents. In a way I am looking forward to it. The part where I don't have to be exposed to the constant drinking. But, I always miss him when he leaves.

Another beautiful spring day here today. I really didn't get any yardwork done yesterday. I may spend some time raking leaves. We are on 1.7 acres - so they are everywhere. I would like to fit in walking the dogs as well.

Hi folks. I messed up again. Its day 6 again. I managed to get back off the codiene just in tie to wreck my head on the dag I got the result of my blood test. The good news is, I'm fine. The bad news is that in the time when I was waiting to have the test, and in the time I was waiting for the result, I just lost the plot.
I should be celebrating, I should be over the moon, but at the moment, I need to wait till things get back to normal, and I can feel normally again. Because at the moment, my head's just messed up.
But I know that it will pass, and soon I'll be in a good place again.Physically, at least, I feel well again.
One other piece of good news, I've done my step 4 and am now half way through step 5.
I'm sorry I've been gone so long. I'll try and be around more.

Em-never forget where we are when you're struggling xxx. We are a solid supportive group and are always here for you and anyone else who finds themselves tripping up. We are all only an arm's length away from a drink, no matter how much sober time we have. This is a place to share the bad times as much as we do the celebrations, in fact more so! God, I've had so many times when I've been on the verge of giving up and been held up by you all.

So pleased you posted. So pleased you're reaching out. So pleased you're back on track.

Great to hear your blood tests were clear and you're moving through step 5.
