Wellll we closed on the house today!!!
Now we have a lot of work to do, but glad for it.
We went to dinner to celebrate, to a steak house and I had beef tips which were very good.
Now we are excited to get moving, finish up packing, and get started on life in our new home.

P.S. I was in the edit mode too long and exceeded the time limit. lol.
I wanted to add that we'll give our 30 day notice here May 1 and that gives us about 6 weeks to pull this caper off. There is lots of sanding and finishing of floors to be done over there! We picked up a sander today after dinner and then hit a meeting. A wonderful day!!

JUST FOR TODAY, I will do something positive to improve my health. If I'm a smoker, I'll quit. If I am overweight, I will eat healthfully - if only just for today. And not only that, I will get off the couch and take a brisk walk, even if it's only around the block.

Hi again my little August family
All quiet now,phew, just the usual busy Friday with the g.children, parents etc. As the weather is getting better now, it doesn't seem fair to plonk the children in front of a d.v.d while I sit posting all afternoon, so I took them to the park and let them run wild for a couple of hours, worked a treat, my three year old is well away and has been for a good while zzzzzzzzzzzz.
LLG, always good to see you, I'm glad all is well.
Thanks Dee, my day was good, yesterday I got quite a bit of boring fence painting done, not as much as I hoped to thanks to heavy showers, but this time last year I got none done, so that's progress! Today was good too, I'm tired now, but in good way. You have a good week end and I hope you're okay too.
Bruce, lovely to see you still checking in, I hope all is well with you too.
Apple, thank you so muchxxx. Where the Hell have you been woman? I've been worried about you, I hope everything is okay. What have you been up to, are you still running. Sorry about all the questions, but seriously I have been concerned.

I can't believe that I am on 8 months, it seems sureal somehow. When I look back to how I was last August my life has improved considerably and so have I, it's still full of ups and downs, but I deal with them now. I don't think I would be where I am now if it wasn't for the support I've received from you my August family and Dee and S.R, so thank you to you all from the bottom of my heart. xxxxx

Day 69
Work has been BUSY and filled with learning lessons this week but its still all good.
My son is teething and fussy but thats what happens. I took him on a 30 minute stroller ride this morning around the lake. He enjoyed most of it.
I've been really motivated about counting my calories this week and am down 4 pounds! I have 30 to go if i have it my way
I'm getting ready to go to my ex's again for the weekend and I'm starting to not be too sure about him being my ex anymore lol.
Anyhoo, hope everyone has a great sober weekend as well, I'll be back

I am having a relaxing holiday... catching up on sleep 
.... not doing enough housework .... board training this week was fun.... except I hurt my big toe and it hurts to run... (thats my excuse for not running hee hee hee)

Hi August people, Jodie and LLG and Grace and Bruce and Apple and everyone else, where is Steve? and of course, Dee!
Congratulations to you too Grace!! I feel the same, sooo much better than a year ago at this time. It is amazing.
I am headed over to the new house to continue project clean up and deodorize, sand strip and finish, etc etc etc.
