Wow. I just realized that today is one year without drinking. That's a long time between beers. I still have my crutches...antidepressants and pain killers but I've made it a year without my "drug of choice". Thanks everyone for your examples. Have a great day.

Steve you're not far behind us in the grand scale of life and you'll always be a part of our August class. I've been thinking that when I hit my twelve months Mark next week I Will pop into 2013 August class to tell the that they tooaws can do this!

Serene Sunday not here Grace. For some crazy reason early this year I decided to run the City to Surf to celebrate 12 months of sobriety. I couldn't train properly so my goal was to jog (shuffle) the whole 14 km WITHOUT walking .... I did it !!!!

MY body is exhausted !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also attended my first ever AA meeting in Sydney ... it was a whole less scary then I thought ... I really enjoyed it .... still know I won't go at home.

I would not have gotten thru this yea without my cyber family the August Class and SR chat ..... so from the bottom of my heart.

And come BACK to chat please ...

Oh I remember you telling us about that last week Jodie, sorry, silly me. You did really, really well especially considering you couldn't train properly. Well done and kudos to you. You're a total inspiration. Glad you enjoyed the meeting too.
