Hey toots - Maybe a nice pedicure would make you feel better? There is this just FABULOUS place that uses the most INTENSE gel that also does MIRACLES for the complexion!

All the talk of pampering, I must throw in my little story.

A few years ago I decided to save a few pennies and bought my own buzzers/clippers so I could cut my own hair (probably wanted more money for booze). Trouble was I was always drunk or had been drinking whenever I actually cut my hair. I was too nervous to do it sober! Sensible, huh!

Looking back through some facebook photos this week (with sober eyes) I realised how AWFUL my hair has been since I've been cutting it myself! I've created new levels of terrible.... I've named a few of them... The Power Poodle look, The Edward Scissorhands look, The Not-quite-finished look, The Not-Quite-Started-Look, The-Passed-out-halfway-through look, The Took-far-too-much-off-the-left-and-none-off-the-right look... The Winehouse look aaaaand the worst one of all: The hedge-won-this-round look.

Needless to say, I dragged my sorry hair over to the professionals this week (under a beenie) and finally had it cut properly!

Maybe it wasn't the booze, maybe I just really SUCK at cutting hair!

I can cut my hair, and do a good job, if I have two mirrors. Makes shaving my neck easier.

Hi Miz!

Hey James - at least you didn't decide to dye your hair while drunk! Thought blond was the way to go at the shore one summer during a black out. Shaved it off the next day with a hangover...

That's pretty horrific North! I don't even know what you look like but the thought of you shaving off this mess of blond hair whilst hung over made me cackle with laughter!

Use the clippers, not a razor.

Hi Mizz!

You guys remind me of the time I came home and noticed my ten year old daughter's eyebrows looked...odd.

She had decided to shave them and went a bit far, so she tried to make up for it with eyeliner.

Oh, and she "did" her 8 year old sister too!

lololololol

Phew! That was my first real craving for booze and I saw it through. Should be a bit easier the next time now. At least now I can clamber into bed and watch the F1. Loads of work to do tomorrow too, it will get done much better with a clear head and a good night's kip.

Goodnight to all of you, keep truckin'.

Thoughts are with all of you as ever. Climb aboard the SoberCoaster! , buckle down, sit tight, and (try) to enjoy the ride!
