Class of March 2013 part 3
I believe in HALT as well...the hungry part is huge for me.
Day 13 here. I have been struggling these past 2 days but getting through it without drinking. I don't trust myself, I am worried that I will give in once the weekend comes and I'm not so busy.
I feel good..very good, and don't want to lose this.

You can do it forabetterlife, you have 13 awesome days already. Maybe you need to plan out the weekend so that you are really busy with fun stuff, movies, books, gardening. I am finding exercising is really helping especially when the cravings are due to hit.

I didn't check in yesterday morning but I'm still going strong. Starting my 12th day this morning. This really I and amazing group I'm having trouble even keeping up with reading all their posts with the 30 minutes in the morning and 15 in the evenings I've allotted myself.
I actually feel good finally without headaches and sleeping half way decent. It's now that I really have to watch out for being complacent and allowing thoughts of I might not really have a problem to enter my mind.
Everyone take care and stay strong.

Hi guys, just checking in. Sounds like most people are feeling good. I'm doing more decorating today and singing along with the radio.
I'm on day 13 along with quite a few of you - can't believe how quickly the days have stacked up! Congrats to everyone, whichever day you're on.
Keep up the good work, Marchers :o)

I slept last night well, at 1 am or so till 7:30 this morning. I am happy! =) Now instead of sleeping until 3:30 in the afternoon I will be up all day no matter what and hopefully sleep from 10 pm to 6 am. On my 13th day and the cloud is starting to move over for some light here.
Day 8: Slept well last night, up before six, had coffee, watched some Morning Joe, finished TheTao of Pooh (I had no use for it initially but I'm glad I stuck with it), went for a quick bike ride, had a two-egg-and-toast breakfast. Must. Job. Hunt. Today. Ugh.
I have coasted so far, but that is precisely why I have to stay vigilant--an Urge can strike out of seemingly nowhere. This forum is most definitely helping me to be prepared for it, so my thanks to you all for the great words of advice and support!!
MARCH ON MARCHERS!!

MARCH ON MARCHERS!!
Good morning, afternoon, evening, night, Sober Marchers!
Welcome to all the new Marchers - glad you are here.
I wanted to do shout-outs and responses to posts, but that will have to wait for when I have more time. So happy to see this board busy and active. Please know I love reading your posts, rejoice in your successes and sympathize with your stuggles.
Day 13 for me and I feel like a cloud has lifted. Thanks for all the messages of support as I dealt with a depression that hit me this weekend and hard. Still having trouble sleeping, but feeling much better today and happy to be going on 2 weeks sober, particularly after my last binge, which was just...well, I don't have to explain to anyone here. Which is the great thing about this forum.
Big love to all Sober Marchers - thanks for posting, thanks for reading.

Hello everyone !!! Boy --did i enjoy your threads today. I'm on day 10 and so darn proud that i could bust. thank you for your encourageing words. My worst time is after work. I use to take a swig of vodka once i got to my car and then a couple more on the way home. I put it in a water bottle so, that if anyone pulled up beside me they would think it was water. I'm a closet drinker and my husband didn't know i was drinking straight vodka (at least that's what I think) It is so nice to go home and not half to sneak to a
bedroom and sneak a shot. I just hope i can keep this up. thanks for listening and the support.
