Sobriety Limericks Part 2

She put on sobriety's glasses
And learned that the craving passes
And reading SR
Took her very far
And joining the monthly classes.
She still has so far to go.
Its still baby steps, you know!
She's learning to walk
She knows she's an Alc,
And alcohol is still her foe.
But at least she has made it a year
And she's no longer ruled by her fear.
Though her quest is eternal,
And her posting nocturnal,
She's so grateful to still be here!

I fluffed it again as before,
Rolling around drunk on the floor,
But today is the day
I live a new way
And show that darned AV the door,
When I drank I could not do my rhymes,
Punishment to my self for my crimes
But now I'm allowed
Back in with you crowd
And believe me- make up for lost time!!

I'm into day two and still free
But I count only 24 hours you see
So two day is one,
You're confused? What fun
Tomorrow will be two day not three!
I'm back and I'm bad as you see
Limericks belong to me
When I'm in the zone
I don't hear my phone
And AV might just as we'll flee
In limerick land I stand tall
So proud of my rhyming and wit
I may get it wrong, but still sing my song
"Run away AV, you wee shhh ( there may be kids listening!!!!

Though I think I would well lose its true,

We must forgive those who abuse us,
That I'm told, and so I must trust.
For to live out my life
Sans anger and strife,
No matter I feel it's unjust.
My peace has always been last,
My serenity for "them" has been cast,
NO MORE, for me,
I take my life back and see,
That "their" personal darkness is vast.
I found I escaped in a bottle,
Masking feelings, sad and hollow,
Now I'm happy I'm sane,
Sobriety's my game,
I'm living life at full throttle
That I'm told, and so I must trust.
For to live out my life

LDT, it is hard, but its true.
Unforgiving, only hurts you.
Cause it keeps you stuck
In past childhood muck.
As if you have never grew.
But its false for you've grown to this day.
Those unable, can never repay.
We do best that we can
With what's given, and,
