Thanks everybody, the actual day is the 2nd for me but close enough! Last year I had plans to make it the 1st but we went to a New Years Day open house and I didn't think I could do it without lots of wine. I'm sure I drank more than anyone else and I woke up feeling full of shame. Not tomorrow!! I will not drink tonight nor do I want to and I am so excited about entering my second year of my new healthy life.

Looks like I will be having another interview tomorrow in Witchita. The guy doing the hiring, Aaron, said it was just a formality of introduction to the client. He said to just be myself and tell them of my passion for food and it will be a piece of cake. Needless to say, I'm pretty excited and things are looking really good. I'm feeling pretty pleased about my 1 year anniversary. I couldn't have done it without all of you! I will stay vigilant but I just feel like I can move on a bit and concentrate and something else besides me, me, me.

Just checking in with the class here, I need to find more time to update!! Today I celebrate one year clean and sober. Couldn't have done it with out NA, God, good friends, family, and this website helped me kill a lot of time before I got a job 
Life is good I have a job that I like, a car, and I'm going back to college to get a degree. It's amazing how many changes occurred in just one year.. The twelve steps are allowing me to really get to know myself, good and bad.

I remember The Exorcist, very scary, good book too.
I love the avatar, Dee, my time in musical history. sigh. The kids at school made fun of me because I thought Florida was the name of a state but I guess it's also the name of a singer. I am sooo not cool.
