Hi everyone!!
Just wanted to say I'm still sober after more than 4 years, and it feels so great.
I often think of this place, this forum, and the amazing people that helped me so much during the summer of 2012. I feel very grateful to have met SR.
I'm still working as a musician, not touring much though, mostly writing and recording, and I became a dad last february, which is so amazing.
I really hope everyone here is doing good.
Lots of light and perseverance to you all.

5 years!! Hope others have reached that mark too!
It feels amazing I have to say. I would never have thought I could make it. And yet here I am.
I remember how amazingly helpful Soberrecovery has been during my first year or so. I will always be grateful for that.
THANK YOU

Sentso, Congrats on becoming a dad! 5 years-great job!
I'm just stopping in to say hello as I celebrate 6 years of sobriety. I think of this group and how much you helped me when I most needed it and want to say thank you and hope all of you are doing well too. I hope others will stop in too. It's nice to see the names!

I became a dad again last year, and I've been training to become a musictherapist. I would like to work with addicts at some point, we'll see how it all unfolds
I've been thinking about this SR group regularly, i'm so glad I had you guys 7 years ago.
THANK YOU, and of course some very special thoughts to you Dee74
Greetings to all on our anniversary month! 8 years-I truly hope that our class is enjoying the peace of a sober life, and if you're still working on it it's worth the effort. It took a long time to appreciate it but I'm there and still so grateful to the people here that made it possible to change my thinking and allow me to free myself from the quicksand of life fueled by alcohol. Have a wonderful summer everyone! xoxo

8 years is quite something! Im so grateful for this forum, the tremendous help it provides, grateful for you all guys, your words and willingness to share and help. It helped me so much.
Im now a music therapist, and Im gonna start studying psychology next fall. I’ve been working with various people and institutions, but not yet with addicts/alcoholics. Im sure it will happen some day.
Thanks everyone, and a special thanks to @Dee74, I hope you’re all well, physically, mentally, spiritually.
Keep it up!
