Morning All!
Eli, 7 weeks...that's awesome! Hope you feel better soon so you can enjoy your success to the fullest!
WWG, call me superstitious, but you need to hurry and make another post to get you to 667. Glad to hear you had such a great evening...does feel good to wake with a clear head.
Ozark, I'm going to hold you to that! Unless of course I win...then it will be MY treat.
Mark, great post. Way to go with 26 days & such a positive attitude. I'm still putting those pieces together myself...I know someday it will all come together. For awhile I felt like I was taking 1 step forward and 2 back. Although I do have setbacks, I'm at a point that I feel like I'm at least moving forward.
Hope everyone has a wonderful, safe & sober day!
Jaz

Hi everyone! Feeling great today, started it off with a good morning.
After one of my (new) favorite meetings at the beach, I was on my way home, groovin' to some feel-good hawaiian reggae music. Sitting at a red light, the driver in the car next to me grabbed his uke and started strumming along to the music, huge smile on his face. Then he threw me a shaka as we parted ways. Awesome!! (oh, he was really cute, too. haha)
I've had a smile on my face since this morning and loving it.
Hope you all have a great day!

Hi classmates! Still here, still sober been working and still dealing with the aftermath of Sandy.
I'm just popping in to say hi and offer support to those of us who continue to fight the good fight. I am so grateful for my sobriety and at almost 4 months now I'm beginning to understand more fully how recovery is a gift...a new life...and I know it will only get better as time passes.
Having some minor trouble with my memory all of a sudden - nothing major, just some short term forgetfulness...I attribute it to my brain recalibration which is still in progress.
Off to bed...5:30 comes round mighty quick these days!!
Stay strong and stay sober friends!!!!!!!

Hi all
Well I can join the cold/flu club of the class now so being depressed is now a smaller concern than sneezing , coughing and the rest :-)
Day 85 and just glad a cold/flu did not send me off to something stupid.
Lots of issues I have no control over but will determine things for me pending. Its a real test for the serenity prayer or its just become the mantra in my head or I will go nuts. I really can't do any more on the issues than I have and the human decision makers are beyond my control or influence. Whatever happens I will wake up tomorrow to continue the work I started. Its a let go and Let God week for me I guess.
Well enough of my self indulgent whining , have a good 24

Well the "get together" is off. I've always thought that playing the lotto was just contributing to a voluntary tax on the masses that have bad math skills, but know it was a better investment than buying a bottle.I was in a package store to purchase my ticket and was surprised I was not drawn to the aisles.
Hope everyone makes it a great day.

Good Morning Folks!
Woke up feeling a little out of sorts this morning. Body feels bloated, mood is deflated & energy has tanked. What's up with that?? Last 2 days I had enough energy for 10 people. Oh well, guess I have to expect days like this. Going to do my best to pull myself out of this funk so it doesn't ruin my day. Although the thermometer is reading 34, I think I'm going to bundle up & drag my butt out for a nice long walk to get some fresh air.
Hope everyone has a wonderful, safe & sober day!! As for me...sober, YES! Wonderful, I'm working on it.

Feeling MUCH better! I didn't wallow in self pity for too long. It's been a gorgeous day, sun shining, even warmed up a bit. I got out for a walk & some fresh air, hit the grocery store for a bunch of healthy food & have been puttering around the house all day, keeping myself busy. House is clean & decorated for Christmas! Normally I would sit and enjoy a glass of wine while looking at my tree...instead I've stripped all the beds & am doing laundry. Woohoo! What a wild & crazy life I lead...but that's ok, I'm good with it.

Glad you're feeling happier Jaz! Well it's the end of day 5 and I feel ok, got so much other stuff going on I've not had time to really think about drinking. I've started making plans for the weekend already, I'm determined to have my podium this Monday. Goodnight everyone. X
