thanks Lee, wow, well done on stopping the vicodin & drinking. Incredible. Iīm happy you continued with your sobriety after slip up!
Jobei - I love your attitude about dating again. I isolated myself as well and when I start dating again, I want to have fun with it.Hope you had fun going on date.
Hypo- I am doing, thanks! I feel myself balancing out & it makes me feel good & proud.
I donīt know, but for me, I think its normal to miss drinking sometimes, at one point it was fun and a good time..........most important thing is that you are aware of & recognizing your thoughts. The biggest danger is when we feel safe and arenīt as reflective.....
Hopč everyone is doing well!

Thanks Patty, I think for me I drank for so long at the end without enjoying it that I was surprised to find myself missing it. Not drinking is certainly starting to feel more normal now. I don't have as many conditioned responses anyway but the odd 'why me' moment!

Glad you're feeling more balanced x

Those conditioned responses, sigh.......I still struggle to recognize them. Not feeling as balanced today, lots of resisitance & blocks in arranging aunt's care. Got in fight, feeling of loosing self control, don;t like it. Couldn't control my mouth!!!

LOL, its amazing what can come out! Sometimes I surprise myself with how creative and ridiculous I can be.
Yes, in some ways its really stressfull. In other ways, like spending some time out of US, have been very healthy for me.
Thats a good idea, to make space in eve to relax. I usually like to read but I've been sharing a room w/mom and now that I think about it, when we get in a fight, its been in the evening usually. we make up quickly but regardless, stressful. hmm, I need to come up w/ a good chill out spot!

I really need my reading time! I usually find if something is up then that is what's missing. Is there a library or something nearby you could go to? x

Hey guys, my sister convinced me to get one of these new fangled smart phones so I just caught myself up to date I just saw my counselor today and he recommended me for a 30day rehab center. Once I go there I will be out of contact again for the duration. I am looking forward to it as a rehab is exactly what I wanted. I leave on Friday so after that I will talk to you all again when I am out.

Its good to see some new faces and the return of some old ones. Have a good one all!

Work it INH... you'll pick up some amazing tools in there! I never did a full month but I did do a week detox once and it definitely taught me a thing or two. I found that eating a lot really helped! Look forward to hearing from you on the flipside bud!

Hi Jeni, Hypo, patty, Dee and anyone else lurking! Been so busy the last couple weeks but I've got another vacation soon and I plan to write more during that time!

God bless!
