There's never just one night for folks like us Mirage...I figure at least when I'm sober a bad day is just a bad day not a bad six months.

Glad you found my FB page too

I hope your meeting will help Bryan - and, as always, stick by us
That goes for you too Dave

Happy trails Frances...wherever you are

I hope everyone has a great weekend - at least it's a bit cooler Aussie?

Hi Marchers,
sorry I haven't been in, it's school holidays here and I am always flat out working at this time, tourists everywhere and this is only the lead up to the big one at Christmas. I got my results from my shoulder ultrasound and I have tendinitis my doc has refered me to a specialist to see where we go next, it can be treated with needles or I may need an operation but get this I rang up to make my appoinment and the receptionist tells me I need to bring my xrays and ultrasound films with me and I tell her I only have had an ultrasound done then she informs me I have to get the xrays befor he will see me so I make the appoinment because I can't get in untill late November then I have to make another appoinment to see my doc to get a referal to get an xray then an appoinment for the xray , did I say .
Apart from this all is well.
Storms forcast for today.
Mirage and Bryan sorry your both doing it so hard.
Frances Dave and Dee hope you guys are O.K.
Lofty miss you here!

Gahhh..stuff like that is so frustrating, aussie. Glad it's getting figured out, tho. Tendinitis, eh? I had that in my knees before. I started kick boxing, and I don't do stuff like that half way..I kicked the crap outta stuff and I wasn't properly warmed up or stretched or whatever the heck I should have done. Paid for it, big time. I did some physical therapy, but I don't think it really helped. Eventually, it got better on it's own. It used to come and go, so I'm always nervous it'll flare up, but I've been good for a long time now (knock on wood.). Anyway, now that I've made this all about MEEEE, lol...let us know how it all goes. Glad you're doing fine besides that mess. Hahaha...I love the little dude over reacting to the weather forecast..made me laugh.

Thanks Dee..I suppose you're right. You occasionally ARE ya know... maybe now is one of those times. ha Hope all is well with you.

Posting from chilly rainy Maine, comfy with cocoa and my laptop.

"Borrowed" wifi from one of the neighbors. woot!

Brought up a down comforter that a friend gave me. Can't BELIEVE she didn't want it. It'll be perfect for up here. Yes, mirage, some color, beautiful reds, oranges, yellows.
Lovely anniversary dinner at our favorite place. There was a big family sitting next to us and a 5 year old girl was tucking into a place of steamed mussels in red sauce. Thought that was pretty adventurous but living here, it's a good thing because mussels are plentiful and delicious. For me--Fish tacos with leftovers for breakfast!

Mirage, glad you went to bed early and hope that you are feeling better soon. Glad you know that Dee is always right. Bryan, hope the meeting tonight was just what you needed. Dave, hope the weekend lets you catch your breath and recharge a little. HI DEE! Aussie dear, what a PAIN your shoulder saga is, sorry for all the stoopid upsets and delays. Hope you feel better soon.

Nite all!

Lol..I was gonna SAY!! Always? Who said always?!

Egad, girl..I may envy your stamina, but not your food choices. You can have your fish tacos, not sure you could PAY me. Ok, maybe you could pay me to eat em. A lot, tho. You'd have to pay me a lot.

Hey!! Remember when I told you I was helping Tony practice for his audition for the school musical??? Guess who got the male lead of Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid?? You got it!! Can you believe it?! I can't. So happy for him. Think I'll turn into the stage mom from hell? Probably.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEEPUL???? Fish tacos are the best!! Fresh haddock, blackened with cajun spice, avocado, slaw, cilantro!!!! Give this near-veg her small happiness, willja? I don't eat much fish but when I do, it's fresh, local, sustainable (!!), and delicious.

ANYHOO, CONGRATS TONY!!!!! That is SO MUCH FUN. Mirage, you are going to have such a blast with him. Is this middle school? Way to go. What a great thing, he'll always remember this as one of the best times of his school life.

Always, sometimes, occasionally, eh, what's the big diff? I'm sticking with 99.99% Dee Positively Positive.

OK, BIG PLANS:
Hardware store to make spare keys (dog can come in, it's the best hardware store ever)
Farmer's market
Furniture thrift store (really good)
RUN (once rain takes a break)
MORE HADDOCK

Carpenter is coming over at 4 to give us a price for replacing carpet in the second bedroom with hardwood flooring. Husband loves him. I suggested a morning appt. Husband says, We can't drink scotch in the morning. So, lol, carpenter is coming over to sit and chat and have a scotch with husband. (Remember that husband is a completely normie drinker so one means one, and not a big one.)

Happy weekend Marchers!

HUGS for you Mirage. Sorry today is a hard day.

Just back from a solo 10 mile run. Starting at 3pm was not the best idea but I sucked it up and got it done. I'm used to running in the morning and it's a different physical and mental game later in the day. WOOT. Seriously chewed through it a quarter mile at a time.

What did you see Mirage?

So, a friend from home is coincidentally running the Maine Marathon in POrtland this morning. About a 45 minute drive. Husband and I are going to cheer her on at mile 20 and then hightail it to the finish line, hoping to see her finish. It's a small marathon in a small city so we're hoping that the logistics works out.

Looks like the rain is going to hold off too. Cool and cloudy, perfect marathon weather.

Hope everyone is having a good day! I'm super happy I did that run yesterday so I don't have to do it today. It's the small things!

We should have seen a comedy, aussie!! Pretty interesting movie, though. The critics love it, so I wanted to check it out. It's called Looper. Here's a very brief description I found: "In 2072, when the mob wants to get rid of someone, the target is sent 30 years into the past, where a hired gun awaits. Someone like Joe, who one day learns the mob wants to 'close the loop' by transporting back Joe's future self." It was kind of Quentin Tarantino-esque, in that it was very violent, with a very cool plot, and well directed. The acting was good..Bruce Willis, Emily Blunt and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, (who looks totally different to me for some reason). They could have wrapped it up a TINY bit sooner.."let's GO people!" It is slightly better, looking back on it, than it was in the moment. I enjoyed it.

Today the Lions play at 1:00 and then if we're up for it, we're gonna take the boys to see Hotel Transylvania. (Animated movie). OH! I think this week I'm gonna try to go alone to see a documentary I saw is playing, called Bill W. (The AA co-founder). If I go, I'll let you know!

GO Lions!! ROOOAAAARRRR!!! (fake it till you make it )
