What I resist about this codependent thread is everyone here focused on themselves (me more than you). You know.... poor me I suffered, I will act out and make a scene. What I really am attracted to and what I admire is on this thread is that everyone on this thread is more more and I mean much more than genuine. Good or bad right or wrong. Really up or down you really say what i sense u mean. In a world of fear and people not opening up, i appreciate that quality.
Me before you, me the worst in this bunch. We are emeshed in me. In this odd thread we are different, very odd parodox, the Melodie Beadie teaching is to increase self esteem before obliterating self thru alutrism. The teaching she offers is to build up ourselves and then release our self esteem and be free of ourselves. That is the vibe of this thread. I am not saying its good that the thread is this way....and its not bad either.... its what seems obvious to me.
