Part of me says I shouldn't be proud of myself, for just doing the right thing, but another part of my says - F*** THAT, I'm proud as hell of myself!!!!

Well itīs been a while guys!!! FINALLY I am over the year mark.......one year 2 months almost!!!! 
Hope you guys are still going strong!! In June last year I got myself a job which I love and with people I love to bits and have become like family to me.......felt like all the hard work had paid off and now I am working so much I donīt even have time to contemplate drinking again!!! It all started here, I will never forget that xxx

Wheresthefun, congratulations! 3 years is an amazing accomplishment! I wish I had stayed with you. I was in this class but slipped at 18 months. Another year and a half slipped by but I got back on track in May. I have 2 months now. I used to post under Meetmesober. I am so happy you posted today. It is a great reminder that it can be done for me.

Hmmmm, I logged on a few minutes ago, and started my usual (reading the thread subject lines) and saw someone posted how much sober time they had, and it occurred to me... five years today. Wow, I actually forgot. Well, I didn't forget, I knew it was coming up, but ya know...
It's all good, life as a non-drinker most definitely agrees with me, and I with it.

Well, here's my yearly post... to no one (unless you land here by mistake ).
So, it's eight years today. I guess life is just... life. A lot of good, some "stuff" like everyone else. What I can say, is that -- for me -- life is WAY better as a non-drinker.
