PF, wow! What a transformation! Your pretty little wife must be so proud of what you've accomplished, and I'll bet she's ecstatic to have her hubby back.
Frances, I've gotta go with Lofty. You are not a hypocrite, you are wonderful. You are real, and compassionate, and creative, and inspiring, and my friend.

Iancal, at the moment, you're doing better than I am. Stick around and be inspired by these amazing people! They're heros. All of them.
This morning's segment went well, mostly. I did lose my train of thought in the beginning, which has NEVER happened before, but I recovered after a few "um"s and stutters. And my hair looked better than last month's spot, when I was a dead ringer for Cousin It -- just a talking ball of hair. So that's good, right? Ha! I posted a link on my fb. If anyone who isn't on fb would like it, shoot me a quick message here and I'll send it along.
As for the recipes, they should be on FOX's site. If not, I can post here, too.

I don't think that pic would ruin ANYONE'S career, Lofty! Oh jeez..I JUST got what you were talking about with the 2 hamburgs and coke! As it happens, they grow anyway. Even when I lock em in the closet and feed em once a day. Hmm. Can't figure it.

Sounds like you're on the right path, iancal. Yeah, acceptance was a huge thing for me. Came with a lot of tears, but really it's just the beginning of greater things to come. Good luck with AA when you go. Hopefully we can be of some support, too.

That food made me hungry....I love me some beans.....my wife and I play a game sometimes.....If you only had one food to eat the rest of your life what would it be? You would think steak, lobster, shrimp, bbc,something with some umpf. Nope! Me.....Black Beans....I love those things. My wife....I think she chose peanut butter last time. I am always Black Beans. Therefore we dont play as much as we use to.

YEAH PBC! I love how you got across the twin messages of healthy + affordable! THAT is what people need to hear. WELL DONE BRAVA!
Hopping about like a happy rabbit getting everything ready to go campin'. It's gonna rain. So I'm packing extra clothes. My goal is to be happy and relaxed when we pull out of the driveway instead of snippy stressed strung out. (Have I mentioned recently how nice my husband is?) IT'S ABOUT TIME he gets to enjoy the Happy Me.
And to breathe a lot this weekend.
And to get in a shortish run both mornings.
Little Dude Dog goes to the dogsitter. I'm double glad we're not taking him because wet dog + inside tent is not a happy story.
I'm taking all ya'lls with me on my phone! Are you ready for some CAMP SONGS?

YeeeeeeHawwwww! I was wanting to do some camping this weekend. I hope that we have fun. Although.....if I get wet.....the wife has said that I have a wet dog smell if we are out in the woods.......Am I still invited?
