staying clean
I have been practicing staying clean for many years. It started at age 13 and has been on and off the train ever since. I am the addict, I am the co dependent, I have been the lost child, and I believe I have been all of them. I just can't seem to get it right. I was doing well and then I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, and to try to get rid of that pain, I started taking vicodain. I knew I was an addict and in the past had conquered it, but I was in pain and I told myself it was okay, because I needed them, just a few it will be okay, right?? wrong, I led myself right back to the old path. Now its okay to take suboxen because if I do that, then I don't need a vicodain, Wrong again Christine, when will you ever learn to tell that fiend to go away and never come back. Its so easy to make excuses for ourselves to use once again. Addiction is a vicious cycle. Now my oldest son, is experiencing it first hand. I am so sorry son. I love you. Please help?? thank you chrissyrose

just tell that voice to go out and bother someone else!
have you tried a good pain management doc?
and did you ever have a program of recovery that helps get to the underlying issues of addiction?
if not, seek one out, and if yes, try to work on what was not working,
and boost up what was.

RustyZipper - missed the bus. Didn't you see me out by the road this morning picking up the remains of our mail box that got hit by a baseball bat last night? Ah well...the ice cream is melted, but I managed to toss the blueberry pie on to the back of the bus when it went by. Check to see if it's still there. If not, I will bake another one.

I have a 34" inseam...don't think I can get more leg out there. But, glad you all like the blueberry pie. Making peach cobbler for tomorrow! I managed to grab on to the hood ornament of the bus today - it sure was a wild ride. Hopefully, I'll make my way inside the bus tomorrow.
