80????? 80????? by the beach????? what happened to cold sea water????

Ms. annoying NBC weather lady assures me the rest of the week will bring a "cold front" with rain and wind....I want to SLAP her....I also want WAFFLES big fluffy BELGIAN waffles!!! i could probably eat 5 of them right now....like the cravings for booze, this should pass too.....sigh.....i am off to QVC to search for the appliance and remember how much work it is to make hot fresh waffles....waaaaahhhhh!

the NBC news promises the secret to keeping fit tonight at 11PM on their segment "down with diets"....if they tell me I can eat big fluffy waffles I am IN!

I am changing my work hours next month for 2 days every week to accomodate going to the gym early and "just do it"...when I told the cats what my plan was, they rolled over laughing...but then remembered that they can have the bed sooner if i am up and out the door! Pookie is smacking his lips at the birds because i have the windows open, he loves the fresh air.

Fands - you're going to the g-g-g-g-gym? The courage! I haven't been in decades - tried to convince myself a good, brisk walk was just as good.

Yes, it was 80 - but it's just a fluke. Will return to the 60's tomorrow.

I'm hoping this week will bring good news to our whiney job seekers. It's time for some good stuff to happen.

yes, it is time for good stuff to happen on the job front.

I broke down and purchased the Cusinart waffle maker...it should arrive by the weekend...i also have Booby Flay's recipes for savory chicken an wild rice waffles...which i can make after I go to the gym....which is open from 530AM until Midnight, not a lot of room for excuses is there?

as a hospital, police, fire employee i get a special discount to the big fancy gym around the corner...i used to go every morning because Mr. Fandy left by 530AM and i just got up to exercise...what a joke now. but it must change. my stamina and energy levels might improve.

and it will provide excellent whining material!

This lack of ambition and energy is making me crazy. Also anxiety is overwhelming today. Feel 'on edge' since I woke up. Wish I could just sleep it off...

can you re-direct those feelings towards something that always makes you feel good?

Raven just threw up in my shoe.

Hmmm.

Ditch the shoes or clean it up and act like it never happened?

I think that Raven is rather considerate to barf in your shoe....he could have laid a big long hairball barf right on the pillow...but he knows it won't make a mess, stain anything delicate and mommy will scoop it out wash the liner and spray it with non-cat smell lysol.

the temp has dropped 20 degrees here since 6AM...it is pouring rain. I left the cats to their 8 hour nap on their throw on the bed...i wish i could join them...my energy is at a low this day too...i had trouble falling asleep last night, but i was soooo tired.

The real kicker is he threw up in one of my winter boots that was by the door from the recent storm.

Hopefully, this is a sign that he's as done with winter as I am.

I'm ready for sandals.
