TGIF happiness for you.
My niece sent me an email from work the other day that said: "This is not a cube...it's hell with fluorescent lighting."
Can't wait to get back there (for real).
Snow coming down at 1" per hour with 10" on the ground before it's over.
True to form, the sun is expected to come out mid-afternoon today but temps are going to plummet to below zero over the weekend.
Will be staying away from poles....

only 3-5" were rec'd by me...it did not start snowing until well after midnight which probably saved us. my neighbor cleaned my car for me...this is the 2nd time he was so nice. I owe that man a coffee cake!
Never fear, more weather whines are coming...more BIG SNOW predicted for upcoming TUESDAY...as long as I can get the trash out, i can live with it!
I have scheduled a "spa day" for the Samster...his oatmeal treatment, gland squeezing, teeth brushing, nails, bath, brush and trim...I have coupons for Petsmart...he is remembered as "the Pom that does the yoga poses"

We didn't get much snow, but oh how the tv weather people played it up. I think it's irresponsible to get everyone panicky by stressing the worst case scenario all the time. Usually around here it never ends up that bad, & many people lose sleep thinking they'll wake up to a foot of snow when it's just a dusting, or nothing at all.
My whine is that I don't like my whiney friends to be sad.

Feeling better right now.
We got a total of 5 inches.
Here's my snow whine: People, I would rather you NOT clear off your sidewalks. During the day, the snow melts a little due to sunlight (even though it's only in the teens) and then REFREEZES! I do NOT want to bust my head on the concrete AGAIN! If you are going to clear your sidewalks, at least throw down a half ton of salt. Thank you.

According to the Weather channel, if scenario 1 hits we get dumped on. Scenario 2 means we get nothing. I live within the middle finger of WV. We'll see what happens....it's too early to tell. They really need to stop hyping this crap up.

My whine: Pres. Obama and the Veep are right nearby on the Eastern Shore of Maryland at the beautiful Hyatt in Cambridge. Wish I'd known I could've had that photo op. Well, maybe my niece who works at the front desk will take some pics.
I can't get my willpower to kick back in after holiday binging on candy, cookies, etc. Was thinking I might actually put on a bathing suit this summer, but there'll be no hope if I don't get busy.

What's a bathing suit?? When I bathe, I wear my birthday suit.

not sure how much, though it was the light fluffy kind
fands, i always have a path cleared for the trash, and the mailman.
