Work...being sober has my brain firing. I am flying high on the job, but of course not high.

Life overall is looking way up. When I am sober I am not as seflish or needy...expectations are more realistic...life is good

What's better than good is that I take such good care of my doggies now and can notice when they're sick and treat them for it right away.

And even better than that is that both of them are feeling better and back to normal.

Least I'm happy to hear your doggies are feeling better!

What's good? Life, all of it. My doggie is, like Least's dogs, getting much more sincere attention from me - I have real friends sprouting up from AA and SR. Work is good, the family is alive still. Really not much reason to be anything shy of joyous.

I'm taking flowers to the lady that 12 stepped me tonight to say thanks. That's good to!

Breakfast and coffee with mom today.

Being sober and able to take her to breakfast and carry her groceries into her house for her.

It's warm enough today (33 F) to walk the dogs!!

It's been over a week since I've been able to give them a walk and they so enjoyed checking their peemail and getting fresh air and exercise.

It makes me feel good to make them feel good!

Real honesty with my ex, saying things to each other that we (mostly I) could not say before, hid, covered up with drinks.

And 38 days is pretty good too.

Not having to worry about getting to the liquor store right after work, battling traffic, just anxious to get home for that first drink. I can take it slow, head to a meeting, see people that 'get' me, and not have to hide away this evening all by my lonesome
