Anyone do the math? If we completed 44 parts, some just over and some just under 500 posts each...that's 22,000 whines.

WHINERS ARE WINNERS!!! WOOO HOOO!

Oh man, don't get me started on printers. I have an ink stain the size of my printer on my desk from when mine radomly decided to purge all the ink out the bottom. Nice. Constant reminder that I need to afford a better printer.

My whine of the day is about unreturned phone calls. No matter how many times this one somebody tells me they'll call me before the end of the day or they'll call me the next day with that very important info I need.....they never do!!

I call, get a whole lot of sorrys and apologies for the day being busy etc. etc. and then the same damn promise as before. I'll get that info and get back to you tomorrow "I promise." This last time I actually chuckled and teased, is that a real promise or one of those promises where you have your fingers crossed behind your back. Oh she laughed it off and swore to me she would. Here I sit, day 2 and still no call.

ARRRRRG!!

"If I had a dollar for every whine on this forum, I would donate to Humble Bee" who could then not worry so much about unemployment and the crisis of daily hunting.

it is raining ugly outside....i brought my nice big umbrella this AM...and left it in my car in the huge 7 story parking garage (i pay over $600. a year for the privilege of parking my car 1/4 of a mile from my building..comes right outta my paycheck, it is based on a salary %)...when i got to the bottom floor and out the door, yup i realized my error....so i covered my head with my sweater and ran for it.

i keep a spare in the office...but someone TALL put it on a shelf and i can't reach it!!!! i have to climb on my conference table to get it.

((Fands)) You're so sweet...thank you.

The real kicker is that I'm not "beneath" any kind of job either. However, to all of the small establishments where I've applied, I'm overqualified.

Fands, if you're wearing 3" inch heels, please don't climb on conference tables while wearing them.

Been there, done that; results weren't pretty.

Better to deal with wet-head hair or frizz than end up in a cast. waaaaaaah.

22,000 whines!! Wow! That's almost as many whines as my beagirl's had tummy rubs in her twelve years with me.

No whines today. Did my little job and walked the dogs and got some supplies. Now I'm waiting on a pizza from down the street - great pizza. So I'm rewarding myself with a pizza. And will have pizza for breakfast tomorrow too.

So have an easy night planned, with pizza and movies and maybe even popcorn later. I've been a good girl lately and deserve a treat.

Hmmm. There's gotta be something in between retina hysteria and peaceful palm trees...

How 'bout a lightning storm image?

Just found my whine, and from now on all phone orders for pizza should be read back to the person ordering to make sure it's right!!!

I always get my pizza with very light sauce and whoever took the order heard "sausage", not 'sauce'... If he'd just read my order back to me I could have corrected it before they made it wrong!!!

ahh Least - no good having the wrong pizza!!! agreed orders should be read back....I never think to ask them to do so.

not bad LTT - that one's pretty good. except - have my pants fallen down in it? Green hair I can handle, but I do not want my pants slipping. I'm sure no one else does either. heh.

Just got my pizza and tho a long wait, it was worth it. A lady who works there knows my order by heart and made me a new-and-perfect pizza. Gave the dogs little bites of the crust, yummy! No wonder they love me so...

Just gotta say it... I'm coming up on ten months next week!! Woo hoo!! Never thought I'd get this far and be so happy with a sober life. I am tickled sh!tless over it... A HUGE part of my success was/is the support I get here.

Least - that is wonderful. I'm so glad for you.

My whine is that I'm either sharp or dense. There's no in between. Today it was dense. Maryland has a brand new law that went into effect today - no cell phone usage in your car! So - I call my husband on his way to work to remind him of something.

did he answer? i do not text and drive...but i am guilty of dialing while driving with my knees and yapping as needed. (shame, shame i know)..i don't blue tooth or anything extra difficult to connect.

i am fighting with myself as i need a new phone and really have to go to the smart version with email...( it is mostly work stuff)....but i don't want to confuse myself with the Samsung "Fascinate" but i have a huge credit from my carrier so it won't cost much.

i keep putting it off...(like Scarlett O'Hara..i'll think about this 2morrow)

Maryland has a brand new law

We don't have that in Ohio yet... but it's coming. I'm guilty of talking sometimes, not much, but still...
