those are some wild orange eyes on little Isis...(who ain't so little any more I see)..Fandy is also becoming quite a load of lard...he weighs more than the dog.

Is Isis "pushy" for her sleeping real estate? Fandy comes to be between 1030-11PM and plops himself in his designated area...(which means i have to move over)...Last night was the first cold evening...I woke up at 3AM with both Fandy and Pookie under the covers..which of course made me hot and sticky with cat fur plastered to my body.

i need to have it very cool to sleep well.

I have a spectacular whine that i can get some milage out of...I think I have a cold! i am tired, wheezy, itchy eyes, sneezing..post nasal drip...

I am making teriyaki chicken tonight with fried rice...all i have to do is stir-fry the chix....

I gave away 1/4 of my cake already...my BFF and my contractor (who is her SO) he is sick too...chocolate cake should cure him...I plan to leave work soon and go home to put my feet up.

Your animals are sweet, Fandy. Better to be plastered with fur than to be ignored.

Isis hogs my king-size pillow when she wants to sleep there. She's laying on my shoulder now.

I stepped on Isis's (?) paw earlier. She wasn't too crushed. I didn't mean to...I had an armful of clothes and she got underfoot as usual. She still follows me around A LOT. We're usually in the same room. I'm going to miss it if she grows out of it.

Took all three dogs to brother's church today for the Blessing of the Animals. Had to have brother help as I just can't manage three dogs at once! We got a nice little certificate of being blessed which I will put on my wall. And little FFD wasn't as shy as he usually is, let people pet him and everything! And didn't tremble too much when the priest was blessing him. I hope he's finally losing some of his fear...

The church was quite full of dogs and their people. Even some cats, but mostly dogs. There must have been at least thirty or forty dogs. And all the dogs got along. No fighting or growling or snapping, just happy dogs being blessed and a lot of friendly butt-sniffing going on.

I so enjoy this annual event. It's so heartwarming to see all these people with their dogs and knowing that these dogs are loved and cared for.

And for whatever reason, there have never been any 'accidents' in the church!

Now, that's divine intervention at its finest!

Raven kissed the window glass more than once today while watching the birds who were being especially wild outside today. (at least the screen was softer on his face; he doesn't like the windows being closed; neither do I).

Is that how some cats end up looking like this?

Fandy - what a memory you have (cheesesteaks). I shall check it out.

HB - Wishing you good fortune this week as you continue your search.

Bam - I withdraw too - so if I'm ever gone from here more than a day or two, please come looking for me. (Isis does resemble my sisters Himalayan.)

Least - I love that tradition too - I know they do it around here somewhere, but I've never gone.

My toilet won't flush and Raven just threw his "Fancy Feast" breakfast up on the carpet.

I refuse to call Roto-Rooter...may as well flush my $$ down the toilet after they fix it for what they charge.

Sounds like this may be a job for Super-BEE!!!

RZ...I'll let you know when those manuals come in. Good readin'!

Woke up late this morning and not feeling well... Have to be at mom's this afternoon to get her cats in carriers for the flea man to - once again - spray for fleas. I just hope she's got the cats in the kitchen so I won't have to chase them all over the house to catch them...

Hbee....i recommend one gallon of bleach...let stand, if flushing then works, repeat with another gallon....i also dump bleach in the shower drain and sinks.

my brother and i just paid $300. to the plumber for my mother's house....one of the previous tenents put an entire disposable RAZOR down the tub drain, where it acted like a beaver's dam...my brother attempted to repair himself, and broke the pipe.

you can work out a lot of your aggressions with a plunger.

I've actually done that...his name was Steve...I pretended he was a plunger when I found out he had cheated on me.

No complaints. And the toiley was a mighty bright white afterwards!

Welcome HoldinOn!

No need to literally do that [hold on] based on my remark. LOL

Just blowin' off some steam..

Bam, I am happy to see you..

Isis' tail looks really full (compared to my cats) must be persian or something. And "she isn't JUST a cat!"
