it's beeyootiful sober saturday here....i have much on my to do list and much on my want to relax list..hopefully i can do a little of both....
Fandy and Pookie are celebrating the cool weather here by doing much "cat-racing", running the length of the house and leaping to the highest piece of furniture....it's odd to hear them "crow"...because i guess they feel "accomplished".
i am cutting down the portions for Sammy, he seems to getting a little pudgy in his walking vest...the velcro is getting further apart.

Love that Grandpa Al, RZ!...just two words...spray tan.
At least he never developed those unique uni-brows that Herman did! LOL
My first boyfriend had unibrows and I still thought he was a handsome devil. Love IS blind, lol.
Welcome Baggervance!! Glad to have you join us in the wonderful world of whines.
Saturday mornings, King Bubba always goes out to pick up his newspapers and brings me a Tim Horton's coffee (Canadians KNOW this is the only coffee worth drinking) and cheese croissant. It's a standing order from Queeny.
Today they were out of croissants!!!
Bubba said that they asked if he'd like a cheese tea biscuit instead (which I also love) he said "no thanks, Queeny likes croissants".
Good morning Whiners!!!

Good morning Whiners!!!
Hiya whiners, I got nuthin yet but am sure I'll find a whine somewhere, somehow....sigh...I'll share a slogan or two:
Whiners are winners.
Take what you want and whine about the rest.
Just whine about it.
Whine unto others as you would have them whine unto you.

My deciduous azalea is loosing it's leaves, and the local hummers aren't frequenting my Cuphea cyanea like they used too...I think they hate me! I mean, just because the cats slam into the window every time they flutter by is no reason to avoid my flowers!
glad you put on the glasses and found King Bubba queeny
welcome to Whiners bagg
Mrs C,
always good seeing you, Whine, or Whineless
hiya GG!
Whine of the Month
was driving around a rural Golf Course early this morning on the way to an Estate Sale
much to my chagrin,
i nearly got broadsided by a geezer in a golf cart
there were no "Yield to Golf cart Signs"
80ish, with the spanky and our gang knit hat with the ball,
the argyles, two-tone golf cleats, and the knickers
he gave me the finger!
sheesh!
elders these days!

I did a little fix up job, Zipperman. That's what we codies DO.
Bravo, GG, that is a 10 star whine if I ever heard one.

Found a little whine... can't get to sleep tonight. Laid there for almost two hours and just got a headache but no sleep... oh well, at least I've got the world on my desk to keep me company in the wee hours....
You know how when someone we love passes, we know in our hearts they will always be with us?
Well, my mother must have visited from beyond last night because when I looked in the mirror this morning,
it seems she left me her neck and her mouth wrinkles. And I could swear I heard her snickering when I noticed.
Stop it, mama!

ok this is typical avoidance....it is 49 degrees this AM...i have this complicated digital thermostat...(that i do not know how to set)....it is still set up for the AC.
i am glaring at the instruction BOOK....decided to turn on the oven and bake a chocolate coconut walnut pound cake instead.....
i guess i will have to figure it out at some point, or freeze to death?
tonight i could put the oven on it's self-cleaning cycle, it goes up to 900 degrees....i could roast the cats too.
i to do 3 important things today.....wash 3 loads, go grocery shopping and go to work (after i bake this cake)....i would prefer to drink my new coffee..I found Kahlua cups yesterday...they SAY no alcohol, but it is extremely aromatic and tasty strong.
Ann i've had Tim Hortons, i agree it's good....i drink at least 6-7 cups of coffee everyAM, but stop before noon and switch to herbal tea and my smart water....when i get up "at the butt-crack of dawn" (my daughter's saying), i NEED my caffiene!
i will give the cake away as i only eat a slice or two, then it loses it's appeal....
i watch the food network and get all inspired then realize there is no one here to eat mass quanitities....i think i cook out of boredom.
