I live in a part of aus that just has wet/dry seasons. Its the dry season at the moment - sunny every day and safe to swim in the ocean. Theres heaps of bugs regardless of what time of year it is, I dont mind most of them - just the biting ones!

I think it's wonderful that Australian Whiners keep this thread alive all night long. Way to go, Down-Under Gang.

My whine is that I slept in, have to gulp down my coffee, race around SR and still shower and dress in less than an hour before I go to work.

Tomorrow is Friday, the beginning of my weekend. You just watch, I will be wide awake at 6 am.

Enjoy your whiny days!!!!

heavyn, i do not usually put the creamer in tea either, but this tastes like dessert...with decaff tea at night it is very soothing and helps me sleep...(yall know i suffer chronic insomnia...i am so jealous of Least, it would be a miracle if i ever could nap, i can count on 1 hand the number of times i nap in the last 3 years...usually only sick or passed out from drinking sorry to say).

i wish it were *hot*....it was 47F this AM.....should hit 78 today, but no humidity. windows open AC is off.....no midgies to be found.....

Day shift reporting in. Slept late this morning and it's pouring rain out so no dog walk today. Still not feeling 'right' and a bit of a headache, probably due to the rain. A rainy day nap sounds about right.

Good morning whiners.
The thing about housework (and yardwork too) is:

It doesn't stay DONE!

there's alot to do
and I don't know where to start
laundry or mop floors

Worthy whine about my email program. My phone company is CenturyLink, used to be Embarq. Got an email this morning about my 'enhanced' email program... which I didn't ask for! Now I find I can't access internet articles from my email, which I used to do easily. I click on the link and it goes into 'connecting' mode... but never connects!! Once again a large company has screwed me up without asking if I WANT 'new enhanced' email features!! Idiots!!

I sent them an email complaining about the lack of internet connections in my messages, but I did notice that I could connect to THEIR links in the email message! Sheesh!! Leave well enough alone, for cryin' out loud!!

Cmc, here's an old housework haiku I believe you wrote a while ago. So good it bears repeating.

Perpetuousity

housework needs doing
but once it is all finished
needs doing again

I once had several appliances commit suicide at once and replaced dishwasher, washer, fridge...at the same time...i was getting a huge discount and no sales tax (because my brother ran through his contractor's account)...so i decided to also replace the dryer and large TV....my credit card screamed for 6 months after that purchase!

I've been trying really hard not to write anything in this thread. You guys are on page 4 and I've said nothing yet! Can't help myself today....

Mr LTT thought that he would be helpful and clean up the weeds and overgrown bushes and wild things at my Dad's house. He was great...but he used a CHAINSAW...enough said!

Yep, least... it's the same old same old huh? It reminds me of a Dr. Suess story where the grass keeps growing as it's being mowed.
