Someone on another forum that I frequent posted this because they thought it was funny.

When I pointed out that it wasn't funny, and that the guy has a real problem, I was pooh poohed. He just got drunk, they said.

Sigh.

(I couldn't watch the whole thing, btw.)

ETA. I just watched the whole thing. Double sigh, and a little bit cry. We live in a blind society.

Interesting video PC. That is very sad. I don't believe I have ever been quite that drunk.... at least not in public. Thanks for sharing that though. It is good for all of us to have a little reminder once in awhile as to what it could be like should we decide to go out drinking again. For me, I would probably get like that the first time out. I would think I had to make up for lost time and try to drink 11 months worth of alcohol in one night.

Hope all of you are well. Another beautiful day in South Dakota. The leaves are starting to turn color. Just gorgeous.

PC-you are right, it isn't funny. Normal drinkers wouldn't still be walking (stumbling) around trying to get more beer. Normal drinkers would be passed out if they were that
drunk.

It is the special group of us, we alcoholics, that would still pursue another drink when we can't even walk. Sadly, that guy might even have been driving..

But, for the Grace of God, go I.....

How in the world did that guy even get to the store? If he walked it would have taken him 3 weeks. If he drove . . . scary!

I don't like drunk videos either.
The bottom line is that's a person - and I feel their suffering.

Sorry for their reaction PC.
