Have a safe and wonderful trip, Least, and yes...we do expect some great whines when you return, vacations are excellent whine-makers.

And Fandy, you are inspiring me here. I have yet to lose that last 10 pounds and am determined to do it soon. I know all about glucose/carbs/healthy foods that aren't healthy...and yet, I persist.

Starting tomorrow...really...because I have one glorious piece of cheesecake in my fridge that I would rather die than throw out..so tomorrow it is! Should be easier without KB here for dinner, I can eat well and eat what I choose. See? I knew there was a blessing in there somewhere, with these stupid new hours.

I've made this whine more user friendly today; so just in case you are in a rush- the whiney part is in bold font.
I've been up a few hours and forgot to eat breakfast....no bagels for me either. I'll have my second cuppa decaf/caf with skim milk, some blueberries, and a slice of toasted Ezekiel bread smothered with peanut butter.

That's it from me.
cmc is signing off for now...brb after my brekkie :

I hope that everyone has a marvelous whiney-ful day.

Bam, didn't you get the note???????????

I'm afraid I've traded one addiction for another...

Am finding that whenever I go shopping (grocery store, pharmacy, bed and bath shops, retail stores), I always seem to buy liquid hand soaps.

I don't actually wash my hands a million x a day (like an OCD thing), but I can't resist picking up the pretty, unusual bottles or attractive scents and colored soaps.

The latest: Christmas Tree Shop...$1 bottles of Johnson Parker in Sweet Vanilla, Crisp Apple, Cool Melon and Magnolia scents. Ahhhhh.

They're also non-antibacterial so I'm not stripping away my own good stuff in the process.

What's it all about, Alfie?

I heard about the bread on the Dr. Oz show on the day he had several former supermodels as guests. I think it was Cherly Tiegs who was sharing that she eats it every day for breakfast.

It's gluten free and chock full of sprouted grains with no preservatives added....and so yu-uh-ummy.

lol is does sound religious! There's a bible verse on the wrapper from the book of Ezekiel about making bread. I dunno who makes it ...I just know I like eating it!

In my store, it's found it in the frozen foods section on aisle #125.

I love nice scented lotions and shampoo too, and just found a body lotion that smells like gardenia that is heavenly and perfect for summer or anytime I don't want to smell like perfume, but just a hint of nice.

I have a towel/laundry whine here (no whine too small, right?)

Why do towels and facecloths have tags that don't come off? I mean after I have bought them and used them I really don't care who made them and they stick out and look bad when I try to hang my fresh towels and facecloths nicely.

They should be made so that they tear off easily without wrecking the towel. Cutting them off leaves a stub...also ugly.

Revolt America!!! Down with Towel Tags

I'm tired too...Sammy and I did another mile and it is still 84 degrees and humid here....he was greatly admired by the neighbors tonight...his coat is soft and shiny and he smells like oranges....but his breath smells like chicken.

we will all sleep well tonight and have a whineful tomorrow....with no tags on the towels! i agree it greatly interferes with oragami folding techniques.

lordy, i know i am tired, i was dreaming about my students last night.....they are newly writing CVs and personal statements and i am sick of editing them and finding nice things to say...i want a piece of chocolate and almond rocha buttercrunch.

Is it too much to ask for? Really?

I just want a *#&^&(@ cat. I got my mom on board, but dad's balking. Well, more like bitching. WTF does he care?

I'm asking for a little kitten that I take care of...that I pay for...and if for some reason I can't take care of it (and I don't expect that to happen) I would find it a good home or give it to the local no-kill shelter.

Worst of all, the person who would give me this kitten sent me the picture yesterday. It's so *(^&*^&(&^ cute! I want to reach through the picture, pull it out and give it a hug.

Come on, dad. I don't really have friends or a social life. Let me get a &^*(^&*(^( cat.

The funny thing is he loves animals...and animals love him.

I hope he doesn't think this would be a replacement for his 'buddy'.
