It was so hot here today, and I was so bored, that I laid down for a little nap and slept almost four hours!! It rained while I was asleep (and my car windows were open) and now it's cooler out but we have severe storm warnings this evening... So for the next hour or so I'll be watching the sky...

Just checking in myself. Things are going well here. New doggie is doing great, except for being afraid of the dining table I made for him... I'm feeling pretty good myself these days. Coming up on seven months sober and really happy as this is the longest I've been sober since I started drinking three years ago.
Today is much cooler so won't need to run the a/c, which is good for my electric bill...
Hoping all my fellow bottom-dwellers are well and happy. (((hugs))) for you all.

Busier day today for me...Aisle 6 later...a nice jaunt to the store. Always does me some good. The trick is...to not overload myself (I walk)...so I don't look like Santa struggling to
get home! lol

Doing ok here today. Irritated with ck (college kid) as she's getting really bossy and insulting with me, meaning it all for the good, but going about it in an unpleasant way.
Having a cup of Easy Now tea to settle down for bedtime... been wound up all day... except that this tea relaxes my kidneys as well as my brain so I'm relaxed but can't sleep due to interruptions for the bathroom trips! What's the point of drinking a relaxing tea if it just makes you pee a lot??
...then why am I drinking it?? wtf?? as the kids say, "well duh!!"

This is just a bs/nothing/anything thread. Just chatting like we were in a coffeeshop passing time for a while. Like the Seinfeld show...Nothing new here, but the 'old stuff' is mostly all good so can't complain. Former Foster Boy is a happy camper here. Sleeping on the bed, daily walks, treats, and lots of tummy rubs. He's in heaven and I'm happy 'cause he's happy.
