Whiners Anonymous...Part 37
When my name was called today, I noticed that I perked up and kinda rose from my seat thinking, Yes ladies and gentlemen, I have been chosen. The doctor will see me now while you continue to sit and wait.
Yet just last week, when my name was called to see dr. slaughter I remember thinking, I'm screwed now.
What's up with that???

Today I have an all-day seminar to attend. Not sure what it's all about but I agreed to go with a friend. I have trouble sitting for 8 hours and hope it's a fun thing with lots of breaks.
At worst, it will be a whine in the making and get me back on track here.
Wave out to Teach. I think she may be playing hooky. Where is the Whine Truant Officer when we need him?

good morning whiners....carry on. it is 39 degrees here, the heat is back on. i turned it off yesterday and left a window cracked for some fresh air in the house..I came home to the cats burrowed in my bed, they separated the quilt and sheets for a snuggle-fest and my house was COLD.
I'm glad I have postponed planting anything delicate outside....the Old Rule of Thumb in my state is "mother's day", no frost after that 2nd Sunday in May.
I have some good meaty whines, but they will have to wait until I get my kids settled upstairs in the Surgical Research Lab for their "suture course"...they have to learn how to sew skin...it's some fancy knots...BTW, we use pig skin tacked onto a suture board, no humans are needed.

LTT, love the dysfunctional fam!
No dark sarcasm in the classroom....
Least, this seems like the longest school year ever. Surely it will end soon.
Cold here too! Thought I was through burning oil for this year. $295.00 for 100 gallons!

The dog I am dog-sitting for three weeks has a bad cough. Made an appt to take him to his vet today at 2pm. Laid down this morning and took a nap... and slept until just after two pm!! Had to reschedule the appt for later today. I can't believe I slept that long.
Seminar turned out to be a high pressure sales pitch.
Good thing my friend had a sense of humour like me, we
were bad students and got called out of class by one
of the sales guys who thought he could pressure us into
buying...au contraire dear sales guy...and we told him we were too old for bullying.
He said it cost them $450 each for us to attend today and I told him that if that was the cost of lunch he got robbed.
We did learn a lot and had some fun and chuckles, so it wasn't a total loss and hardly worthy of a whine.

Got dog to the vet later. He has an enlarged heart, a heart murmur, and something wrong with his trachea. Was prescribed a diuretic and cough syrup. Now I have to watch him closely and let him out a lot due to the diuretic. Hope he's alright...

oh i hope the doggy is OK!!!! are the owners aware thathe is so sick?
i'vehad avery busy day...no whines except that Mr. Fandy continues to exhibit extreme assininity....i would take his nuts, twist them up and shove them where the sun don't shine if i thought it would help...but that's not the case....i hope he chokes on his stupidity...i am tempted to block him.
on a better note, I rented out the vacant apt. in my mothers house today!....so that saves me the next tax payment for the upcoming quarter...whehw!
i can sleep easier now...aholes are everywhere.
