Morning everyone. Just wanted to give you all a quick update. My friend/sponsor left us last night. The cancer got the best of him and he went home to be with his true creator last night at 8:45 PM. Even though he is gone, he leaves our hearts more full having had him in our lives. I am going to miss this man for without him, I would not be where I am today. My wife had only met him for 15 seconds on the day he picked me up 86 days ago to take me to my first AA meeting. I told her last night that he had passed, and she started crying. I asked her why and she said " I didn't even know him, but he not only saved you, he saved our family." This is the type of man that we lost and will forever be missed. But it is of great comfort to know we will see him again someday.
I hope you all have a great day and weekend. Hugs to you all.

Sorry to hear that, Brent. Perhaps God sent him to this world for one sole reason -- to save your life. His work is done here, and now he's home. I have no doubt that he felt pure joy watching you go from one place to where you are now. Kind of like you are watching me now. Pay it forward!
Enough of that! Hope everyone has a good day today. And may the God of your choice bless you!

(((Brent))) I am sorry for your loss. From the picture and what you said about him, he looked like a really great guy.
Speaking of talking to people outside of SR, KC says hi. She's had a lot of things (not involved with drinking) going on in her life and has been pretty much off the computer.
