whines for today.

Well its Monday thats one!
Two I woke up late and am cranky
Three went out to dinner with a beautiful woman last night and she is just so crazy, was so happy to get away
Four the world and everyone in it all 6+ billion people will not do as I want and I am about to stamp my foot in tantrum
Five have not got enough work
Six I still have those defects and when I lower my guard there they are
Seven time to hand the reins back to my HP

Thank you for being whine listeners

When I was taking out the recycling tonight, I had a fright. As I opened the gate, it was so dark that I couldn't see anything despite the almost full moon over head...and.....I......stepped on something rather large.....and soft.....and when I did that.....it moved slightly. omg.....I was sure that I had stepped on a possum.

Whoa....I did the Moonwalk better and faster than MJ himself.....but it turns out that upon further investigation it was only an avocado that fell from my neighbor's tree. Sheesh. (thankfully I was wearing shoes!)

Recycling whine-ku

Taking out the trash
on a moonlit evening...
dang avocado.

CMC, I have learned that when walking in the dark...drag your feet. Do not pick them up, but simply drag and even the avacados will roll out of the way.

Perhaps that is what Michael Jackson was trying to tell us with his Moonwalk?

No whine today yet, it's Monday, a fresh week of whines awaiteth.

Well, for this morning's whine,
I have to go back to work today,
After having 4 days off.

I got the house picked up during that time.
And I made apple butter and two more batches of salsa.
But, didn't get my holiday decorations down from the attic,
or put up.
And Chaunakka starts on the 12th!

Lots to do this week...

Shalom!

Why are things that taste good so fattening?

It's just not fair!

Whipped cream and lettuce should be equal, and then we could choose.

Life according to Queeny says so.

Bought a warranty with road service included. (We live in Maryland.) Went Christmas shopping. Dead battery. Called warranty company located in Pennsylvania. They called roadside assistance company located in Texas to dispatch someone. Roadside assistance people called us to see where we were located & said they'd send someone "right out". An hour later someone called back asking where exactly in Ocean City, FLORIDA were we - since they couldn't find the address. Now realizing we were in Maryland, they located a garage in OUR state! 3 hours after discovering dead battery, a mechanic drove 10 mins. to spend 3 mins. charging battery & getting car started.
I did not throw a tantrum, as that would not have been in the Christmas spirit.
