Like that you phoned the vet lol... im surprised it was there first enquiry for that though... one of the guys who my company supports got it... thankfully once he started his treatment he was back on his feet within a couple of days... hardy little bugger
I love sobriety... im raving it up in my bed listening to music at 5 to 9 on a monday night and loving it... who needs to wait for booze to party

I feel $#$%ing awful. It started Saturday morning. I went to my meeting Friday night, bought milk walked home, felt ok. Saturday I woke up and wondered who was sitting on my chest.
I phoned our health link line and they gave me an over the phone diagnosis. If I miss more than 3 days work I need to get a dr's note. We'll see. I think one more day home should do it. I feel a bit better every day.
I watched the 8 hours miniseries Anne of Green Gables on DVD on Saturday and didn't move from the couch once. I told my dh that no matter what he thought of me, please don't let me turn blue and die.

Swine flu is scary and it is the breathing that is worrying
My daughter in hospital we with suspected appendicitis. I am grateful we have good healthcare over here

Gosh, so many are sick or have sick relatives. So sorry to hear this. Bee, I hope your daughter recovers quickly and that you don't catch it. Marlee, I echo the others and hope you don't turn blue and you know what. Feel better soon. Ditto to Kate's dear daughter. And last but not least to Nelcs' MIL - I hope she is back on her feet and at your place smoking fags and watching sports by Christmas!
Oh and to Sher - I hope your mama gets better real soon - I totally get what you mean by getting out of self when we care for another sometimes it's just what we need.

I'm back and feeling pretty good. Meeting was Step 4 just as I thought, I also thought I lost my cell phone 
was starting to freak out then just started praying to St Anthony, patron Saint of lost items, got home and there was my phone sticking out from under my bed, don't know how it got there but it was right there. YAY.
Nel, hope tests go okay tomorrow.

hello all....I just got home from a big book meeting. It was pretty good and small and I was honest in my share, which is sooo much easier when the meetings are small. I have been to 6 meetings since Friday. Trying to find a sponsor. Praying about 2 job interviews....husband & I had words today and he told me he hated fighting w/ me. We rarely fight, I felt bad and hugged him tight...that was my day...

Just popping it to say hi! All is well here. I've been listening to Christmas music tonight and I just love this season. Before I got sober I hated the holidays. Now, I can't wait.
