okay when you posted that Kate, it reads here as 7:40 PM, I know Nel and Stone are 5 hours past here so it was 12:30am there. I don't do time zones well just ask Lis or Dee, lol.

Just got in from meetings, didn't have to lead the speaker one earlier, the person who does it showed up, the 2nd one was a difficult one. I had to keep myself in check there, those sharing were talking a lot of nonsense and rambling on and on, I was tempted to cut them off, but it was not my meeting, so I just figured they needed to ramble tonight. And there is no 3 minute max rule at this meeting. I did what I was asked to do.

Ro & Nel, I thought of both of you at that meeting, not because of the rambling, lol but there were 2 reps from GSR there talking about service. It was interesting, and someone stepped up after the meeting agree to be a GSR rep for the group. So you both popped into my head when they shared.

After meetings I went to my girlfriends house, she was having b'day cake for her daughter, so I popped in for the last 1/2 hr, I am exhausted and heading to bed. Good night all you beautiful friends.

Sorry I am not responding to all the posts, I am really tired and need some sleep.

For some fool reason I thought that drinking Red Bull before my evening run would improve my time. Not only did it NOT improve my time, it made me nauseated, and now I'm wide awake!

Bah.

Hey Kate - sending good thoughts your way for a positive outcome on those tests. I think it's midday on Friday where you are. It's now 10:24 pm in Canada. I'm in the same time zone as Bee and Lis and Ken (I think).

Home group was good tonight.

That is all.

Good night everyone.

oh and Nelco , no my foot is NOT off the pedal, you husky Irish lass, you!

Good Morning Peeps

Nel sorry you don't have a voice, are you gargling like I suggested?

Stoney, she's gonna get you.

Ro, Red Bull in the evening, not a good mix there. My sponsor drinks that, I've never tasted it yet. What does it taste like? Is it a soda, a juice, a cold coffee or like bull P***.

Well just in case you have forgotten, Today is 1 year sober for me. I am very grateful today for this gift of sobriety.

funny that, its kinda frowned upon here. Because a lot of new members come in guzelling it down still looking for some hit. A lot of them used to drink it with vodka and are advised to change to a lighter soda or water.

All opinions only i suppose.

Happy Birthday, Donna! I hope you have a wonderful day! Will you be celebrating at your HG tomorrow morning?

I don't drink Red Bull often, and I like it for the added edge it gives my running (usually - last night was the exception). I drink the sugar-free version. It doesn't taste like bull p*** - it's hard to say what it tastes like. But when it's nice and cold, it's quite good.

Just arrived at work, coffee in hand.

Rest that voice, Nelcs!

I sound like i'm losing my voice too.

I have a nice quiet weekend ahead of me. My oldest has Girl Guide camp, youngest is going camping/offroading with my dh, and it's just me and my 7 year old boy. We're going for sushi tonight and then Saturday i'm bribing him with new movies so I can work on my assignment and studying.
