I just got back from the gym which is next door to where I work. I feel good. I wrote an article a couple of months ago for our work magazine and forgot about it. A lot of people have been coming up to me congratulating me on my recovery! I guess it came out over the weekend. Let me tell you -the timing couldn't be better. With my daughter's birthday, I really could use a pick-me-up, and this helped.

Im interested Ro!! I also meant to say to you earlier about your daughters birthday. I hope you can keep positive today. Maybe you could do something for her that she does not need to know about till she is older like open a small savings account in her name. I hope I am not stepping over boundaries here if I am just ignore,

I must tell you that it bothered me all morning about your post regarding your daughters birthday today, but I just didn't know what I could say that would help except I'm sorry. Just keep trusting that all is as its suppose to be right now, I know that suc*s but its all I have except for this hug

Nelco that's a fine idea about a savings account for her. She's saved nearly 4,000 already just by working part time - but every bit helps, right? I'm going to think about it. Thanks for the suggestion.

8:So sorry I missed it.
I've been busy, and not feeling well. Friday was non stop...and the week end I was sick.
Still under the weather today, but errands to do for my mom..and a must-meeting
tonight. (There is your "must"..Rust!) lol
In fact, I need to go do the errands now...but I want to say I am glad you all
are okay, and staying sober..and, in fact...having a good quality of sobriety for
the most part. It does get better...
And in my experience...I do my part..and my HP carries me the rest of the way.

A really cool thing just happened! A jar of potato and corn chowder just exploded on my counter! Scared the holy heck out of me. My sister made it for me and I don't know what caused it to explode, but the lid blew off like Mount Vesuvius - creamy potato and corn everywhere! And what a stink! Smelled like vomit - so I'm not sorry to have missed eating it.
Exercised today and stuck to my healthy eating. I feel pretty optimistic so far.
This shouldn't last long.
